Anyone else having problems accessing their hotmail account? I haven't been able to check email since yeterday. My browser attempts to load the mail but just hangs there... anyone?

Yeah I couldn't access it via HTML, but it works in Outlook Express.

I have a Hotmail account that I never use, so I went to check it.
See that I have 9 new messages- one from this girl I used to talk to every friggin day a little less than a year ago- for about 3 years.
Follow it saying she's sent me a message on Friendster, something I never used, and only set up an account so she could use me as a referral or whatever system they use.
After 10 minutes of trying to remember what password I used to use back then, I get to her message.
"Happy birthday!" sent on October 29th. My birthday is on November 5th.
So I don't know if this was an automatically generated email or what. I really liked talking to her, but she quit her job where she talked to me from, and never had a computer at home.
Does anyone who uses/used Friendster know if you can send out automated messages based on important dates?
I was happy before I read this thread and the subsequent trail of remembering an old friend came and punched me in the gut
