All excellent choices, some of them are stunning, but I sometimes prefer a broad set of shoulders on my chefs:

We don't have any female TV chefs in Germany. These guys are the hottest though:

Germany sucks

Sarah Wiener is on TV in Australia, she may not be hot, but she's German isn't she? She is pretty good.

Women chefs are still portrayed as "house makers" on TV, while male chefs are always "professional".
Will that ever change?

I'd imagine the "professional" male chef and the "house maker" female are more familiar to the viewer and thus more easily trusted for their cooking skills. Unfortunately.
Maybe there are some more homely male ones out there somewhere.

Ooo, is this a blooper show? I love these. Watch this: okay, see the guy in the hat will spill hot water on his groin...or maybe he'll drop food on his groin... Oh wait a minute, this is a cooking show, Carl.

Probably not to any great degree. The Australian version of Ready Stead Cook (terrible, I know) had lots of very good female professional chefs on it.

Ching is on Sunday Brunch this morning. If you stick channel 4 +1 on now, you'll probably catch her rolling these awesome rice balls!

Also, don't be scared of OT. Come on in man, the water is fine!

Caught the end of it, Rachel Khoo was on BBC 2 as well :D

Haha thanks, seems like a good place to start :p

Where is gay/girl GAF representing the male side?

James Martin is a handsome dude, and he's a legend as well! Really funny guy.

Male chefs have a lower threshold of attractiveness before they get on TV. Sad fact of life. If you are a great female chef but not pretty, in general there will be no TV time for you.

No, we get freaking Ralf Zacherl

He GROSSES me out. That beard wtf? I wouldn't let him near the pan.

Rachel Allen is what I'd term 'thinking mans crumpet' her voice is just so soothing, I could listen to her all day

Michela Chiappa is quite lovely - welsh-italian!

It's also mandatory that every male chef on TV be a Momma's Boy, no matter how badass they are. A "Mom visits the studio kitchen" is always a must.

Ramsay is the man.

Watching his "reality" shows and seeing women wetting their panties over this guy completely shatters my suspension of disbelief. He's 46 years old and looks almost 60.

Yeah, I know the ladies are probably more attracted to his money than anything else, but still. :P
