Jason asked whether he is a Highlander because there is always a Highlander in history, or is he a Highlander because he is from Highland.

Some dude shouted out an answer and Paul went over to get him to clear it up. The dude starts talking in a condescending voice, and Paul says you don't have to talk to us like we are idiots.

June immediately flips out. Saying fuck you, I watched this fucking movie bro.

After he explains some more, Jason asks if Sean Connery had killed everyone would the movie be called The Spaniard. Dude says it would be called the Egyptian, because he came from Egypt through Japan and then Spain and then Scotland. Jason says he hates the dude.

The whole exchange was amazing.

Oh wait, I was thinking of the guy who said "I thought you'd be funnier" to Jason. Yeah that was a great bit.
 
Watched The Lawnmower Man the other day. Absolutely a mind fuck of a film. Just ridiculous. The episode wasn't funny to me. I was expecting more given the material they had to work with.

Also watched Solarbabies last night. I couldn't tell you the plot if you had a gun to my head.
 
I watched Kazaam the other day. The last time I watched this movie, it had to be over 15+ years. I completely forgot parts of it (like the rapping, oh man, the rapping). That kid was a straight up asshole lol.
 
Finally got around to watching The Lake House. I'm trying to put this in the nicest way possible .. and I could be completely wrong about it .. but I feel like this movie was made by someone for whom English isn't their native language. It had unusual sensibilities. Lots of awkward dialogue and editing. And who didn't see that 'twist' coming a million miles away? Also, this was one of the only movies where I was put off by all of the music in it as well. If there wasn't some bizarre song playing it was droning oboes. The episode for this movie should be great. There's a lot to discuss and dissect on this one.
 
Watching Anaconda and Voits performance in this is incredible. Other than maybe the mom from Sleepaway Camp, it's some of the wildest acting I've ever seen in a movie. It's a cross between a bad impression of De Niro's "you talking to me?" face and even worse impression of the "say hello to my little friend" line. I mean - he's playing a Hispanic man. Jon Voit. One of the whitest men ever. 'Da snay, he wrap around joo and he causes joo veins to asplode'
 
Next movie is Hard Ticket To Hawaii. So pumped for it. I remember a thread a long time ago on here that had gifs from the movie. The movie is up on youtube.

This movie looks next level. Can't wait to watch it. Also, Garbage Pail Kids is one I've been campaigning for in the HDTGM Reddit so I'd like to think that movie bitches girl or Paul or whoever saw it and picked it thanks to me. (of course that's nonsense but a person can dream)

They are. They're doing a live show with Hard Ticket to Hawaii and Garbage Pail Kids being the movies. I can't wait to hear June's opinion on Garbage Pail Kids because its gross and horrifying. She's gonna hate it.
 
I watched a little over half of Hard Ticket to Hawaii last night. It's not as bad as Ninja Terminator but it too feels like a random assortment of scenes with no really cohesive bonds. Here's two girls in a hot tub, here's a snake, here's people breaking into a house, here's a guy interviewing two football players, here's two guys getting a sushi delivery from a man who is actually delivering a sandwich with a note in it, here's a creepy old man hitting on beautiful women, etc. Also, the ADR is out of control in this.

lol like "We have to discuss what we found" "Lets talk about it in the Jacuzzi, that's where I do my best thinking" then they both get in the Jacuzzi naked, open the box, and get right out.
 
This is one of my favorite movies. I truly believe this was a softcore porn with a higher budget. I loved the fact that as if there weren't already a high number of boob shots, they had to insert them into the credits as well. Throughout the whole movie, I kept forgetting there was a giant snake subplot.
 
I finally got around to watching Cat Woman...holy shit the number of jump cuts this movie has is enough to make you dizzy.

I was already laughing at that but then when Jason started losing it I really started loling. That was great. That guy sounded crazy.
 
I still think the best audience member was the guy from the Highlander II episode, where he managed to piss off June and the others. I was dying at June's reaction.
 
Watched Miami Connection last night. That movie is wild. It felt like a porn with all the sex scenes taken out. The main American guy looked like Michael Phelps and the Asian guy appeared to be about 50 years old even though he was still in college. I'm not sure what the bad guys wanted from the good guys who seemed to do nothing whatsoever other than exist. Also, I'm not sure why the movie was called Miami Connection when it was inexplicably set in Orlando. And speaking of inexplicable - there are two weird subplots where an Asian man runs a pizza shop that serves .. chinese food? .. and the black guy finds his dad (as the Asian lead says, "I didnt know you had a dad") and gets him back into ihs life. The dad btw looks like a young guy in a Halloween costume of an old man.
