How do people afford cigarettes?

I think I've spent more on video games at one point or another. Everyone has their own poison.
 
The thing with smoking is.. it seems so pointless. I don't get why you even start.


Then again i waste ridiculous amounts of money at the bar every week.. so maybe I shouldnt talk.

If the free market decided the cost of weed when legalized, it'd probably be just as cheap as tobacco.

There's NO FUCKING WAY anyone who can afford to smoke often now wouldn't also be able to afford it after legalization unless the government imposes a 2000% or more tax/regulation.

That's not true. Something like 1 in 4 inmates are serving time for drug related offenses, both violent and nonviolent. What's that, like 500k out of 2 million?

Touche. It's like anything else in life...if you work for your money you can afford to do shit you like. Not like you're taking the money with you when you die.
 
I have a job, I almost smoke a pack per day and a half though :\

Smoke weed alot too, but not as much as sigarettes.

I really should smoke less sigarettes :')

The liquor store down the street always has camels in a 2-for-1 pack for 4.78.

I don't smoke, but I do spend way too much money to feed my alchoholism.
 
4.20€ for a pack of 20 Marlboro (6.45$)
3.70€ for a pack of 20 Camel (5.68$)

I tend to smoke 10 cigarettes a day. Tho, when I'm in a bad mood, I can go up to 30 a day.
Bad habit.
 
Reason I quit cos I was always trying to find money for smokes, and its no fun if u broke and want, no NEED, a smoke (pack a day smoker). So I decided to budget, then when I worked out that its gonna cost me $70 per week I thought fuck that! im quitting.
 
a pack of thin posey branded menthols or designer fags here cost around £6-7 or $14. lol. i buy a pack a month so not to feel socially awkward. i can't even smoke properly, as i smoke so little i always get nicotine rush and inhale too much air to get the smoke into my lungs making me feel gassy and sick. i usually have one at a time and then a bottle of water. then maybe another, but more than 1 without water, food or alcohol makes me so ill. :(
 
If I'm out drinking and its a slow night, I can smoke a lot. I've gone through a pack and a half in one night before. I'm typically a pack ever 3 or 4 days kinda guy though.
