How do people handle freezing when fasting?!

Get a blanket.

But seriously, don't cut your intake too low too quickly lest you'll binge like crazy a day or two when your body starts knocking over magazine racks for those missing calories.

And I don't recommend going under 1k calories on average. I highly doubt you're getting the nutrients you need. At 1k calories it requires supplementation. You'll be hurting in areas like magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc etc. You'll be feeling like shit just to see the scale drop. Not worth it considering how its highly likely you're losing lean mass too.

I updated my OP with more info. I'm doing 1500k cals which is plenty enough for getting all the proper macros

Apparently I am also doing this because I generally never eat breakfast, and only eat between about noon to 7pm. Never knew that it was considered to be intermittent fasting.

Not really losing weight though but I've also not really gained any weight in months.

Well if you've always been doing something, you're not going to see change without a change in your routine.

You should only go on a -300 calorie deficit and not any less. That is actually sustainable for long periods of time.

I've been eating only once a day for the past 10 years or so (or before and after workout, so one big meal within a few hours) and never freeze. Tho, I hate the sun and hot weather anyway. Since moving into my new apartment almost 4 years ago, I didn't use my radiator once and have my window open 24/7/365, even at minus degrees.

OP I wanted to add that eating below BMR might not be the best idea or at least is generally not recommended. Maybe you are thinking of TDEE when you say that though.

It's pretty much meat, broccoli, cauliflower rice (a good sub for rice if cooked right) and nuts

May want to see where you are for magnesium, calcium, and potassium. I've been supplementing with them and feel way more energetic, more energetic than when I ate 2k+ calories a day. No more midday fatigue where I just want to knock out. All about dem electrolytes.

Oh and I also eat a lot of cheese sticks

BMR is what you burn to stay alive.

I doubt your TDEE is 1900. Your BMR is probably that.

TDEE=BMR plus activity.

I do pretty much what the OP is doing (only eating dinner), but I don't do it on purpose. Breakfast time I'm pukey feeling and it hinders my ability to make a lunch for work, and I'm too cheap to buy food during work.

I can't say I've noticed any difference in weight loss and I'm eating about 1500-2000k in meals/snacks at night, so I dono. Doesn't seem to do anything for me.

I see real results when I strictly watch calorie count and carbs stay below 60g.

So you've gone keto as well as IF.

How long have you been doing this for? And are you feeling cold, or are you actually cold. ie thermometer readings, extremities such as hands and feets, when you shake hands with someone else, do theirs' feel much warmer than yours.

If you haven't been doing IF for that long yet, I would try one day where you go back to normal and see if that changes your temperature.

I've been doing one meal per day for almost a year now and have never experienced what you've mentioned. I had been doing an extremely low carb/high-fat diet for years before this, though, so that may have something to do with it. Everyone is different.

Maybe you're not eating enough during your feeding window?

Eh, depending on the type of meat, that diet could be somewhat far from a keto diet.

Dropping carbs will have a big effect on water weight. A moderate caloric cut will only really net you, probably, 2lb a week of true blue weight loss. Its very slow at first but doing this consistently it will snowball easily over time. That's why you gotta think in terms of months instead of weeks for major weight loss.
