I think the important thing is to just bang on the keyboard and sound like you're typing really quickly. We have reputations to maintain!
 
134 WPM. But I was also jerking off to porn in a different window at the same time.
 
I was 102 till I stopped to correct an error realizing I couldnt correct the error then had to pick it up again :(

So it averaged in the 80s. Im gonna take it again tho, when im in the zone.

I tend to self correct as I go along, and while this tests allows for that within a word, if you've already hit the spacebar to go on it's too late to correct it. Bah. Also, I didn't quite finish typing the text, much to my chagrin.

This jives with the other tests I've taken in the past, which ranged from around 110 WPM to 95 or so on a federal test.

Yeah true but my accuracy is around 70, so that pulled it down a bit but yes I am proiud of my typing abilities:D
 
The fishing one was hard, they wanted a semi-colon! I also miss a lot cause o punctuation cause I dont do that too much anymore either haha.
 
I'm hoving in the high 70's mark. I hate how SOMETIMES it lets you back up and edit something, sometimes it don't (if you complete the word it won't let you go back). It's annoying.
 
56WPM with only 5 fingers. I can't type like normal people for some reason I can't have my fingers lined up etc.
 
On normal words, I can see the gauge going well over 100, but if I have to think about a word, or if I think I made a mistake and have to look down... or if I look at the speed gauge... It will quickly drop down to as low as 80.

My gross was 91, net was 85

77, 2 errors

there were too many big words that I had to slow down on to think how to spell. I'm not one to just type quickly and correct later, I generally make sure everything is perfect while I'm typing it and I usually use the mouse a lot while typing to move around and make corrections and such.

Not bad. At one point I wrote "alot" and then lost track on what word I was on. Also some of these words I don't use a lot so I had to think about them.

I type with three fingers btw. :lol
 
I type with two fingers and a thumb, so I knew it would be bad... tried it without looking at the keys every so often, and:

gross speed 61 wpm
77 errors
net speed 35 wpm
58% accuracy

Though I think if you're typing something as you're thinking it, you're inclined to type much faster than this test would show, wouldn't it?

Not bad. Am content with that. Like those above have said, you need to be in the zone to do this right. I'm writing reports as I surf and listening to Seal. Am definitely not in the zone.

I guess my score is more of a "resting heart rate."
 
Just woke up, so the fingers are a bit stiff -- that makes for a lot more errors than normal (hopefully):

Gross: 121 WPM
Errors: 18
Net Speed: 103
Accuracy: 85%

Not bad. I would have been a bit faster gross and there would have been no deviation in net, had I been able to go back and correct, which is the way I normally type. I hit a bit of a hiccup trying to go back and correct stuff after hitting space (especially the first time), and I also got screwed on the errors a bit when for some reason a mistake pushed me two words ahead of where I'd screwed up.

The results are about what I expected. I almost never type that fast in real life, however. Because touch-typing isn't really work-related for me, I tend to be less focused, make more mistakes and think about what I'm saying, which usually happens at less than 80 WPM.
 
57 gross 89% 51 net.

could probably do better, the corrections thing fucked me up a bit tried to backspace and stuff. I think I could hit sixty but fuck it.

The amount of excuses following most of the scores is amusing.

"I...I'm sorry baby, I normally type faster than that, it's just my arm cramped and..."
 
Okay, that pissed me off. I added an extra word or something and so then I ended up getting like 10 errors in a row and got all flustered so my score got lessened considerably. Annoying.
