I am really hesitant to add streaming services. I currently only have Netflix.

I havent had cable in like 14 years but I used to love ESPN. Sportscenter some of the daily talk shows. I liek First Take when i catch clips on ESPN.com.

Does ESPN+ have this kind of daily content like Sportscenter and First Take?

Activated my account that came included with Disney+ cause i wanted to watch the baseball’s Carribbean Series tourney. Turns out there is a “Blackout” on those live games till after it’s over.

Ain’t paying for shit.

One subscriber's perspective only, but I've looked for apps and visited the website and none of it seems to be a real product.

Disney+ and Hulu exist though.

I've been subscribed to it for over a year so I can watch ufc events which is the only thing I use it. Can't follow the sport without it lol

Thanks. Its so funny how they really make it hard to get informatoin on these streaming services. Im sure they want you to "try" it, in the hopes you just never cancel like an idiot.

It seems from my research the live sports are really limited. Mainly baseball I guess? Also it appears there is NOT sportscenter or First Take, if anyone can confirm otherwise that would be rad. I just saw now that you can watch the daily complete First Take shows on Youtube.

Ya UFC would be cool, and I heard there is a lot of boxing on it too which is nice, just not sure if its worth the subscription just for that.

Exact same reason I use it. Other than that, it does nothing for me. Next year I'm purchasing NBA League pass and that will do it for me w/ sports. Listening to Stephen A. Smith on the radio 710 ESPN around playoff time is entertaining

Not worth it. I just purchased NBA league pass.

And on a side note Stephen A supports the Cowboys. That should tell you everything about him.

I thought Stephen A was a Steelers fan and ardent Cowboys hater?

Every time the Cowboys lose, he goes IN!

He “hates” the cowboys but we all know that just him loving them.

edit - we all know that “accident waiting to happen” was just love song

The only reason I have it is to watch college basketball games that are exclusive to ESPN+ (I still have to subscribe to ESPN for the ones shown on the main channel).

I can’t stand Stephen A Smith or even worse Skip Bayless, but Smith has his own shown on ESPN+, and it gets updated almost daily.

If you like the ESPN 30 for 30s, ESPN+ has the full archive. Some great ones on there, like the Last Dance, Lakers/Celtics: Best of Enemies, and Nature Boy(and I don’t even like wrestling). The Bruce Lee one, Be Water, is on my list to watch next.

First Take and Sportscenter I think you need to have just ESPN, though some First Take clips may be available on Youtube.

It's so fucking good.

That’s great to know, looking forward to it. I’m a big martial arts fan. Bruce was a little before my time but I admire his work. I love Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Van Damme (JCVD was what first got me really hooked with Bloodsport).

Bruce left this world way too soon.

I'm a huge Bruce Lee fan and it's one of the best documentaries about him. For the most past the 30 for 30 series is really good, even for stuff you might not normally be interested in.

For the OP, there is no SportsCenter. There are a few other shows like Stephen A Smith and NFL Countdown with Chris Berman. But it is not 24/7 like the main ESPN.

For sports: UFC, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, Bundesliga and other European soccer, some college stuff, and some other random sports like rugby and cricket.

I got it as part of a bundle with Hulu and Disney+ for $12 for all three, so it's worth it to me since I'm a NHL and Bundesliga fan.

It seems like subscriptions are really about “sticking it” to cable companies, I think ESPN+ is about UFC, PFL etc. I remember trying a free trial...
