Emulation does not count, if it does? I have more Switch games installed than PC.
- ~ 30-40 games on Steam.
- Couple dozen GoG.
- A few dozen games across XSX, PS5, Switch.
- And a few thousand for emulation!

Having to create the scripts + having to press 3 keys is faster than just a double click in the shortcut how???For example
Pressing shift+alt+number key will launch the game. Put a shortcut to the script in the startup folder so it starts with Windows.
Not the most practical thing in the world but probably a touch faster than shortcuts![]()

Pressing 3 keys is faster than a double click???Keyboard is faster than mouse. That's not really a debate. Especially if you're not already on the desktop.
Editing a script takes 10 seconds. If you're opening a game more than a few times it's going to be faster overall.
But like I said it's not really practical, and I don't launch games that way, or with shortcuts. I start them from Steam like a sane person.
Pressing 3 keys is faster than a double click???Desktop is not the first thing that open when you boot the PC???

More minutes than on mouse plus I can't/will not really memorize all the 8000+ numbers of each game.Yes, pressing 3 keys is faster than moving your mouse to something and double clicking. even if you're already on the desktop. I can't believe we're even having this conversation. What's your WPM on a physical keyboard vs an onscreen one with mouse?

I find my game faster with the mouse as I don't memorize the numbers for the games on keyboard keys.More minutes than on mouse!? Not words? You're claiming that you type faster with a mouse?
Also what resolution desktop are you running to fit those 8000+ shortcuts? That's gotta be a multi-monitor set-up, huh?
Ι use the Steam taskbar icon which lists my recently played games. It's literally 2 clicks and doesn't clutter my desktop .What is the fastest way to launch a game??
Steam takes some time to launch so double click on the desktop shortcuts are faster.Ι use the Steam taskbar icon which lists my recently played games. It's literally 2 clicks and doesn't clutter my desktop .
