Was just wondering, especially when some things have to be labelled NSFW.

Oh and btw I do read this at work, but I just shut my door most of the time.

Still got one client that likes to barge in unannounced like he owns the place though. :lol

I read it at work, at home, at school - it's addictive and I have to stop. It's the ever changing nature of incessantly random compilations of miscellaneous data that seem to draw me in.... and the antics of some of the posters that make reading a little more fun than usual. Like JSlone said in a previous thread, "It's a good mental exercise." :)

GAH, must ... stop.

The only computer at my job is the register and the thing that dispenses paper towels in the washrooms.

Only once :D

Once I "tested" out the bluetooth functions of my PocketPC whilst working by seeing if anyone in the audience had an unsecure bluetooth enabled mobile, turns out using "0000" as a passcode is far more common than is healthy (at least for their phone bills :lol)

I browsed GAF and a few places for a few minutes before my conscience got the better of me and I disconnected, seems that a PocketPC + untraceable PAYG "Internet Card" is a damn cheap way of getting mobile Net access :p

Tip for gig-goers - if you have a bluetooth enabled mobile, change your passcode, us engineers get bored at work often :D

I used to read it at work and school, but I'm not able to nor do I really want to anymore. Some laugh out loud moments were dangerous, though.

I work in a publishing business... so I have a lot of downtime between deadlines.

So yp, work reader. My boss gets a kick out of this place too.

I only visit this forum from work. I spend so much time on the computer during working hours that I never bothered to get a PC at home.

Yes, I get paid a huge sum annually to read these threads, day in and day out.

Really.

Yep, I mostly browse GAF at work. It helps keep me sane, which says something horribly depressing about my job. Hurrah for working for the state!

I've never understood people who click into a thread, see objectionable material, and then post something like "Damn you! I'm at work you idiot!!!"

Position your monitor so that people entering your office or cube don't have a viewing angle on it immediately, that's like the first thing you should take into account when setting up your desk. If your work situation doesn't allow that, then you surf at your own risk.

Yes, I read it at work. They could care less what I look at. Their more curious why I might be in a thread about a game rather than p0rn.

$50/hour, but no kissing on the lips and colors must be pre-separated
I read GAF more at work than I do at home, but then again, I have dialup at home and the average off-topic GAF post contains approximately 5.3344MBs of scantly clad Asian girl graphics. That and I get paid to browse GAF at work...

I found this forum 2 years ago, because my old job was very boring, and I wanted to find a good video game forum.

I tried a few others first, but work blocked them. This was the only one work didn't block out, so it won by defualt.

2 years later, at my latest job, I'm much busier, but I still read the forum every once in a while to take a break in between tasks.

I also read this forum with Mozilla, with all pictures disabled. I do my work related stuff with internet explorer. Makes it very easy to avoid pulling up some NSFW post by accident.

The RCMP monitors my connection at work (so do the system administrators). That being said.. I browse GAF all day long at work (probably 6hrs out of a 8hr day). I work security. :p

I would never read this board at work... my god what a blatant misuse of IT equipment, as an IT employee I must uphold myself to the laws we set upon others and use myself as an example!

BRB gotta go answer a trouble ticket. ;)

I read it at work when I'm taking a break from actually doing what I'm paid for. They don't seem to notice or care.

I come to this forum at work when there is nothing to do...or when I need a break from work. So it's check email, ga, sa, ign, nintendorks, and any other site that might come up. I check this site at school and at home. It's not that I am addicted, it's just that I come for TEH FUNNY. :D

The thickburger thread had me laughing nicely during class last night... :lol :lol :lol

I'm at work right now. GA makes my day go by a hell of a lot faster. It sucks though because my co-workers don't understand it. And they probably think I'm gay for looking at pictures of dudes on the "post pics of yourself" threads. But oh well.

No, I am afraid of those hidden keystroke-tracing program that might be installed in the computers. I was once caught by my brother when I secretly used his computer (I am not allowed to use his computer) since he has a minotor-type program installed :( I do browse GAF while at school once in a while though. Most of the time, I browse GAF at home. It brings back good old childhood memory of my past 6 years :)

I'm at work. This is hampering my productivity right now.

I went to WAGs boutique and all I got was a sniff
When I have an ICT lesson at school I get a bit of time to stroll through the forums, thats if Im not on the manchester united website. I use this at home mostly. I used to spend waaay too much time on this so ive cut down alot.

GAF helps me get through the boring ass day. Some of the fanboy war post just crack me up. ;) With most of my projects being wrapped up, I've got to do something to stay awake. To quote dogbert, " How did people ever goof off at work before the internet was invented". Seriously, because my current project is so lame, it helps me get through the day. X-Mas vacation can't get here soon enough!

I read GAF at work all the time (usually a few times a day, as I'm in and out of my office). Posting is a bit harder, though, since that means I have to sit down and type stuff :D

I teach English at a Japanese juniour high school, so it's not like anyone says anything about it. My coworkers look over at my computer and say, "Oh. It's English."
