How many times do you think you hit F5 a day while browsing GAF?

$50/hour, but no kissing on the lips and colors must be pre-separated
GAF is always going in one of my Firefox tabs while I'm at work, and I'm constantly switching to it and slapping refresh whenever I get a free moment. In addition to ignoring work and making free moments. Lord knows I probably refresh the off-topic page every few minutes. I should be part of the solution to server pollution. Instead, my F5 key screams like a chaffed bitch maybe two hours into the day. I...I think I need an intervention.

People hit F5? No wonder it goes so slow at times, you fucks. I simply browse other pages, then flip back to GAF periodically.

I really have no need to turn up the volume while on GAF. I do hit Command + R pretty often, though.

Hey, who let you guys in my thread? :D

I knocked, no one answered, no I just came in.

Speaking of which, my friend recently did this to a home that he thought was my other friends. Turns out it wasn't. It was someone else's home.

The other day I was driving to my buddy's new house during the night to head to a LAN party. The house next to his looks a little similar and I couldn't remember the address. I pull up to what I think is the right house, bang on the door, and get a very confused person looking at me. What can you do in a case like that buy kind of go "um, whoops"?

It's just an awkward situation, I'd imagine telling them the name of the home would clear up an confusion. It's pretty funny in hindsight.

I think the tabbrowser extension gives firefox the ability to set specific tabs to autorefresh on a timed interval. So, I just set my GAF tab to refresh every few minutes and check it on occasion.

Why would you go to ALL OF THE EFFORT of moving your hand down to the keyboard when you could just use the mouse to refresh? EH?!

I'm not sure I want to know where you keep your keyboard.

Yeah, you need an intervention, thanks for slowing down the board.

Sorry, wasab, but just letting firefox users know that there's an auto-refresh for tabs. I think it's in the Things They Left Out extension. heh, I used to use it all the time. Now I'm stuck withing the cold unfeeling metal bars of Safari. BUT IRON BARS DO NOT A PRISON MAKE...

If it's any consolation, I'll pop the F5 key off my keyboard during E3. I CAN CHANGE.

No way, I'm always listening to music on headphones, so the F4/F5 volume keys are important to me. Plus, the command + R is just as smooth, IMO.

Now using F12 for a screenshot to the clipboard -- there's a necessity.

Why not just get a keyboard with volume and media functions for about $15 and get the best of both worlds.

Largely because I use a PowerBook. Laptop + external keyboard = clunk fest.

OTOH, I don't adjust my volume that much, but refresh a lot (and liek using the same key on both systems-- less crosstalk in my brain that way).
