How much did Ico sell?

I don't know, but I can tell you that it sold more years after it came out rather than when it first released.

From MagicBox:
- Sony's ICO development team has confirmed that a new title is under development, they plan to reveal the title in near future. The team has also revealed the worldwide sales of ICO, which is around 650,000 copies; and the breakdown is as follows:

Asia (01/13/02) - 20,000 units

ICO's sales in the US, per NPD are: 185,657

Fun-yardsticks are sold out at hardware stores worldwide; they're the only quantities left to argue.

When people relentlessly harp on how a game deserved to sell better, there's a good chance that game was actually a success (like ICO).

The real bombs are those games we mention once or twice. (with the possible exception of Psychonauts)

Good to know the numbers. So we know for sure when someone is selling something on ebay if it is truly rare, or just seller bullshit. 99.9 per cent of time it is bullshit, but it is good to have numbers.

Some people are probably dissapointed to hear that ICO sold well.
