I dont lie about my opinions in real life, but I'd be much more careful in who I speak to them about.
I remember when Trump won in 2016, and a girl came running into the office saying "how could anyone vote for that racist, sexist so and so etc". My co workers and myself didnt say much when she came in, but we had a bit of a giggle when she left. With that in mind, my online persona is about 60% in line with me in person.

I relate. I have a real rambling problem in real life, that I can kind of manage better in text. I have a hundred ideas for conversation flowing through my mind at once, and sometimes I forget there's another human being involved, hahaha
