How the hell do you "manage" it?

Relationships, I'm no longer completely against em. But just thinking about the time consumption involved is making my head spin. Right now, I've got so much work to do, got to sculpt all these models, model all these 3D images (then unwrap and texture them), and then write up a 30 page (or more) Design document for my videogame proposal.

All that on top of the many games I actually want to play in November (HL2, MP2, R&C3, BK, WOW), I can't even begin to factor in relationships now.

I guess some people are just super time-management types.

I dunno, my whole view on life right now is that finding a significant other is basically the end goal of all of this. If I find someone who I truly love and they love me, then I could care less about videogames, money, whatever, anymore.

Yeah, i pretty much have the same outlook. Of course, it's seems like a given that at some point towards your goals, love happens, and you take a detour. Right now, that's the scariest thing about my life. i have a simplistic short term goal, and i know that falling in love is about the only thing that would distract me from it. But whatever happens, happens. You can't plan everything.

I don't mean to alarm you but you have dogs on your face
What is with all this "management" that is required in these things you call 'relationships'?

work and fun are much more important than relationships :D
Thats been my line of thinking for a while. And though I'm trying to be more open, I doubt its gonna change anytime soon, especially since the workload is only going to keep increasing till the day that I'm finally employed.

Relationships are good if you don't become dedicated before you let em grow. If in the first month or two you live your life for this girl you better re-adjust your head. If you can take a relationship as a benefit to your life and do what you have to do, accomplish what you want to accomplish, then it becomes good. You don't have to spend every minute on the girl. She's likely not going to run away. You can be crazy about her when you see her but don't let her change who you've always been because she came along. And don't wait for a girl to become what you want to be.

But that's just me, I dunno. If you can find someone as goo goo ga ga about you as you are about them then have fun.
