I know how without even looking at that:

Dremel
Felt wheels
Polishing compound

I know because the other day I made a deep gash in my watch's lens by scraping it on the sharp corner of a pontiac transport's aluminum steering knuckle. I sanded it by hand with fine grit paper and buffed to a like-new shine with the dremel. Micro scratches would come out with just the polishing part.

I used Lens Cleaner on the suggestion from a guy in another thread, (I'm not using baby wipes), and it worked fantastic.
