Given that the PSP can't be a full fledged PS3 controller, are there any uses for the PSP > PS3 that might rise above gimmick?

It'd be nice is the PS3 came with some simple PSP connectivity games as part of the firmware; kinda like the Pac Man test game they showed on the GBA/GC a couple of E3s ago... but otherwise... maybe it could be used as a secondary screen for some games... like strategy games or some such...

Or maybe a component of the game could be downloaded onto the mem stick allowing players to continue advancing some part of the game while away from the PS3.

However it is used, make sure it is absolutely NOT vital to the gameplay. None of that needing 4 PSPs to approach the titles full potential bullshit.

I like the memory card idea... and the sound track transfer idea... that would be awesome as a standard...

cutscene video to PSP might be a tad redundant... unless it's like a video of a replay.
