C it was fine, they didn't need to spend that long on the Kiln game and I don't think anything was exclusive so I don't really get the point of the show but it wasn't bad.

That was fucking incredible.

First Forza I am excited about. They have somehow absolutely nailed the lighting, many times I thought I was looking at reference footage, but then on closer inspection noticed from the lack of details that it's actually game.

Game Freak has managed to deliver a beautiful, artistically coherent game, which is a miracle given how rubbish Pokemon looks. The mashup of Souls, Fallout and Xenoblade combat is novel, although head scratching.

Fable just looks insane. So fun, deep, beautiful, shot to one of my most anticipated games now.

Kiln.. eh. The contrast between the Kiln dev team and Playground team on camera perfectly reflected their output. Different hiring priorities.

I do love Microsoft's style of going into studios around the world for their videos. They have been doing it for a very long time, when I was producing E3 videos in mid 00s I copied that playbook for my productions - it just adds a layer of humanity, craft and artistry to what would be otherwise a rather sterile broadcast. I would love for Nintendo to do the same.

I gave it a B. My expectations were low but fable looks phenomenal. That plant game looks cool too but im kinda tired of those kind of games. Like why play this when Phantom Blade 0 exists ya know? Forward looks great as always. What they showed was fine, but still the same song and dance. I kinda wish they'd reinvent the feel of the series. Maybe something darker, more illegal. Like Need for Speed or something i dont know. I figured Japan would be a good location to introduce Like the Sakura and mafia sponsored races with more at stake than just bragging rights. Just seems lazy at this point to do the same thing.

Not an Xbox fan but like a mega-Fable fan and Fable gives this one an A from me dawg.

Not super hyped on the other games yet but I'm keeping an open mind.

Pretty good little showcase, gets a solid B from me. Too much mugging and overly stage-managed speeches to get any more though.

Everything looked very polished and pretty, but quite safe and familiar from a gameplay perspective. Can't fault it, but being honest nothing really stood out to me as a must buy for me personally.

To be fair that could be just a result of the kinda "beige" presentation of the show all-round. Lots of talk about passion, but very little evidence of that from the devs on show or their games.
