How's your Elite 2 controller holding up?

Razer is the absolutely worst quality from products that aspire to be premium. The only thing premium about them is the price.
Never had any issues with them myself. Plenty of laptops and quite a few accessories over the years.

Edit: Battery bloat a couple of times, but that comes with the territory and easily fixed with a new one.

I got mine at launch and it's been my primary gaming device for PC since, I keep track of my playtime on a spreadsheet and it's sitting at over 8000 hours of use. The shell came apart last year and I replaced it with a new one. I still works as good as new, no missed inputs. It still goes about 40 hours between charges. My Series 1 is still holding up as well, though it doesn't have near the hours the Series 2 has. I do wish they'd release a Series 3 with more features.

Replaced 4 of them and ended up with the 5th which also had problems but at that time I was just fucking tired of returning them again and again.
All had different problems
The current one it's side skin is peeled off without any force or anything and the b button misses sometimes
The last controller before this had some serious stick drift out of the box.
I wouldn't recommend elite 2 to my enemies.
The best controller with the worst build quality in the world

Love mine... still working after a year just fine...
Make sure to update it via the microsoft accessories app in windows

Been debating on finally trying out the Elite Series 2 controller recently and I’ve heard so many mixed opinions the point where I just chickened out from buying it. Maybe I’ll try it out one day with a deep discount. How does a controller that costs so much money have so many issues while the regular controllers are generally reliable?

I wanted to ask here , if someone had the core version of this is quality control better on it then the regular version ?
I fucking miss a good controller but I don't want to go through the horror shit show in qc that is elite 2 again

My Elite 2 has hundreds of hours on it, still working great. I'll be sad if it breaks, I really like it, but dunno if I'd be arsed to buy a new one.

A button still misses the odd input so I use it for single player games only where it’s less of an issue - I have a series x standard for things like Rocket League where the input just needs to be trustworthy.
This is EXACTLY the issue I had. I suspect the issue is in all Xbox one era controllers. I have couple Xbox One controllers that have this issue.

Went through countless returns with ms with these.
Eventually just went back to regular controllers.
