Sold some textbooks, got 180 bones.
Chilled with my homie for a bit.
Was supposed to go on a double date of sorts, girl said she couldn't go then texted me after the movie started and said she could... I told her I didn't feel like it anymore and she is now pissed at me (i hate girls).
100% the Straits of Devastation in Guild Wars 2... fucking horrible.
Currently playing Minecraft.

Alright I guess. Pretty bummed but going good.

then I went skateboarding at 2 skateparks

I wish I was you. I have no skate buddies so I rarely skate, but I want to :/

*update*

Just got up ate some pizza, some chips and some marshmallows. I think I'm going to watch some Family Guy and try and go back to sleep. I have class tomorrow (sunday class for 3 hours) and I have to do well in it.

Watching SNL and generally bored. It was a long day though. We had a yard sale today and banked over 800 bucks.

im drinking anything i can get my hands on. i love these threads BTW (bt dubs) this is great.. a thread a day, even the mods can't bitch about it.

Played Soul Hackers for like four hours, didn't feel like I accomplished anything, though. Ate some bourbon burgers from Carl's. Took care of my kid. Drank a 16 oz. of Colt 45. Pretty typical Saturday overall.

I'll just carry over my post from the LEGO thread:

My son turned 4 a week ago, and today he and I went out and had a Free Comic Book Day LEGO Star Wars morning. He came back to the house with Yoda ears on, a bag full of comics and mini figures. He was excited all morning.

Sometimes being a dad is extra awesome. :)

After that, we had a birthday party to go to, followed by a visit to my parents where my dad made us an early dinner, some of his seafood gumbo. Stopped by and picked up a new graphics card and RAM on the way home which I'll be installing shortly now that the rest of the family is asleep. Been a pretty good day.

Well I had an emergency appendectomy on Thursday night, so I'm recovering from that. But I flew to DC (from Florida where I was on a business trip and had the surgery) to surprise my mom with an early Mother's Day tomorrow since I'll be leaving the country for another trip on the 11th. Now I'm staying at my sister and brother-in-law's place until they get back tomorrow, started rewatching Arrested Development. Got to catch up with a friend from college too.

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude. This is what I want my life to be when I'm 45, but with a daughter. That's awesome.

So, I went out to drink by myself. It was pretty cool. I'll have to do it again and I can only wonder why I didn't do it before. Next time I'll make sure to eat before going since I downed two drafts and I'm quite a bit tipsy.

Wheeeeeeeeeee!

Finished Lego LOTR and picked up some thai food. I really needed to relax at home alone this weekend.
All my weekends lately have been 'do this', 'do that', 'go here'. It is not fun when partying just feels like a chore.

And also, I have been having this bathroom make over that is finally finished. So it was just a good, relaxed saturday for once.

Much better than the previous few days. On Thursday and Friday there was a bad brushfire that threatened homes in my neighborhood. The situation is much better now thanks to the firefighters.

Today was much less tense. So I went and did a bunch of chores and errands. I got a haircut. I bought a new grill and some household crap. Washed both cars. Watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Read up on how to barbecue stuff. Sunday is cinco de mayo, too.

Working part time retail? Means I'm stuck at work on Saturday. Don't know how a simple 5 hour shift felt like a full 8 hour one though.
