Idea Factory International will release the PlayStation 4 versions of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 +, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation, and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3: V Generation both physically and digitally in North America and Europe in 2025, the publisher announced. Details on the physical release, as well as the PlayStation Store pages, will be available at a later date.
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 +, an enhanced port of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1, originally launched for PlayStation 4 on May 31, 2018 in Japan. While it was never released in the west, the PlayStation 5 title Neptunia ReVerse, which is a further enhanced version, was released worldwide.
PlayStation 4 versions of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3: V Generation were released in Japan alongside Switch versions on May 23, 2024. A Switch port of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 was also released on the same date.
The Switch versions of the trilogy were originally planned to release in the west, but were cancelled after being informed the games "did not comply with Nintendo Guidelines." Idea Factory International originally told Gematsu it had "no plans" to release the PlayStation 4 versions—which has now changed.

I am still fucking baffled about these not coming to switch here. I played through the first 2 on PC and there's not a damn thing in these games more offensive than anything else on the Switch.

Every single one of them has schizo content moderators that randomly pull the trigger on whatever triggered them that day and it's not always the same shit so you get multiplat games that are rejected, censored or left alone entirely depending on the phase of the moon.

PS4 ports of PS Vita reimaginings (well, at least for the first game, the rest are closer to ports) of PS3 games. And Re;Birth1 Plus was actually released for PS4 in Japan in 2018.

Yes. Nintendo of America (and to a lesser degree Japan) is back on their bullshit.
Everyone has employed or contracted some real retards for their game approval pipeline.
PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Apple, and Google. Steam and GOG despite selling porn have randomly hit pornographic and non pornographic titles with zero distinction. Fucking dlsite is even geolocking things based on their tags now in an attempt to thwart regional moralist complaints.

People will tell you this is fine (typically fanboys of the platform) or whine about the content and attack you if you get pissed off that a bunch of corpo fuckboys are controlling what you're allowed to play rather than actually consider the possibility they could one day be fucked over by this themselves.

Either Compile Heart managed to convince sony (which i doubt), or CH is now willing to comply to their policy to bring them over (rather than nintendos which seems in many cases now more extreme). At first glance the Keyarts of 2 and 3 where they conveniently cover up certain parts are already censored. Lets wait for the release if ingame content gets changed too.
