And was it really a sacrifice if what was lost was regained again?
Jesus is not god and god has no children
I am a Muslim and not an atheist. Jesus isn't god because god didn't get crucified so is Jesus. And no, I only read the bible and don't call myself informed a lot about itWell, since you won't even capitalize God, I am just going to dismiss you as an atheist who has no clue about the Bible or God.
He left out the "and Mohammed is his prophet" bit in his version.Well, since you won't even capitalize God, I am just going to dismiss you as an atheist who has no clue about the Bible or God.
Excuse me?He left out the "and Mohammed is his prophet" bit in his version.![]()
You made a definitive statement about a certain god to which PSFan thought you were an atheist, I just gave him a clue that you aren't and to which Abrahamic religion you subscribe to.Excuse me?

If caring developers actually made a Bible game... do you have any idea what kind of drama would escalate from that? I'm a Christian but even I know that it's not marketable.Because the people that make them don't like games. The purpose of religious games is trying to indoctrinate others through a medium which they prefer over boring sermons and badly translated books. For the people who pay for these to be made, their main form of entertainment is fantasizing about bible stories. They don't comprehend that other people don't find that entertaining. The idea that a game should actually be fun on its own is a foreign concept to them.

Exactly, the bible is pretty clear that God, Jesus, and the holy spirit are 3 completely different entities. I have no idea where people got this idea that Jesus is God, but they clearly never read the bible.Except the bible.
I'm just reporting on how people interpret the BibleExcept the bible.

Good, now make a game about Mohammed and hope Valve doesn't get burned down for hosting it on steam.

It's literally a simple Google search:Except the bible.
An excellent point.
The exact same game based on Islamic ideology instead of Christian ideology would be banned.
On Religulous it was explained as water having different states, it can liquid, ice or steam. Different forms, different shapes and different purposes.
I'm sure priests and pastors will tell you that Christianity is monotheistic.

An interesting perspective, but the sacrifice was still a sacrifice even though resurrection took place. Christians like me believe that Christ took on both an unimaginable physical and spiritual suffering by taking on all sins past, present, and future and also dying on a cross. The pain and death endured still happened even if the death was eventually undone. Are you really dead if you're able to resurrect afterwards?![]()

According to what? It doesn't explicitly say this, but it does say that Jesus is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. If you seriously believe that they are "3 completely different entities", then you have clearly haven't read the Bible enough.
Well, since you won't even capitalize God, I am just going to dismiss you as an atheist who has no clue about the Bible or God.
*Doom rift intensifies*I imagine Jesus descending into hell. "I am the Lord thy God" while unsheathing his blade. "This is my body and my blood" while he ravishes and destroys demons and mutated monsters. There's so much potential.
Awesome, I can't wait to enslave people and treat women like shit!
Is that sarcastic? I'm not Catholic I don't get the stuff either. I have always viewed them as two different beings even when I was religious.Thank you for giving me the best clarification
