Exactly, the bible is pretty clear that God, Jesus, and the holy spirit are 3 completely different entities. I have no idea where people got this idea that Jesus is God, but they clearly never read the bible.

An interesting perspective, but the sacrifice was still a sacrifice even though resurrection took place. Christians like me believe that Christ took on both an unimaginable physical and spiritual suffering by taking on all sins past, present, and future and also dying on a cross. The pain and death endured still happened even if the death was eventually undone.Are you really dead if you're able to resurrect afterwards?

The first quote doesn´t say anywhere they are the same, and the second refers to god as the origin and Jesus as a medium, different ideas. As far as I remember Jesus is never quoted saying he was god.
