Ive just finished my first week of school after a two month holiday and it sucks. I tried making myself believe that it won't be too bad during the last few days of my holiday, but that didnt work, school just sucks. After lazing around, sleeping late, waking up late and doing whatever i want, its been a bit of a shock going back to school. During my holidyas, I used to wake up at 11 or 12, now, Ive got to wake up at 6:45 and finish school at 3:00. then there is homework. Its the homeowrk that really pisses me off though. The last thing anyone wants after a long and tiring day is to come home and continue working. Its not that the work is difficult, but just the amount of work that has to be done and how much free time it takes away from you. This year its even worse because I have GCSE's. Now, I have so little time to enjoy myself during week days because its crammed with work. The weeked is really the only time that I can spend time doing stuff that I enjoy, but even on the weekend there is a lot of work to do. At the moment, life sucks.

In Dubai you cant get a job unless you are 18 years of age, plus, I would choose school over flipping burgers. I know everyone goes through the same routine, but it just takes time to get used to!

Going to college and working part time is worse. I envy those I know who just go to college.
I nearly slapped someone in one of my classes who said it was going to be a rough quarter for him, because he was taking 4 classes and doing a 20 hour a week paid internship. Boo-fucking-hoo. I do 4 classes and work 30 hours part time, jerkoff.

exactly. i take 16 credit hours (of senior 400 level electrical engineering classes) and pull 40 hours a week at work.

working is not far worse than school. for the most part you work and you get paid and you go home. school you pay someone thousands of dollars to bore the hell out of you all day and give you ass raping tests and projects and have you stay up till the wee hours of the morning doing it. for nothing but a piece of paper

Ive always figured that if I go into a profession that I know I will like, then work will be fun because you will be doing something you enjoy most of the time. With school, you have to put up with subjects that you dont like though, such as French
