And to think if he died 8 years earlier or so, Alice In Chains probably would be remembered more. The best thing Kurt Cobain did for Nirvana's legacy was blow his head off at that time. AIC was a phenomenal, underrated band.

One of the best singers ever. Its a sad world when guys like Layne and Dime Bag that have such talent are dead and guys like Kid Rock are still alive.

Actually, to think if he died 8 years ealier or so, he wouldn't have suffered so much. Layne Staley committed a terribly long and grueling suicide ... and to think about it is almost painful. It's just fucking sad.
