Listen, K++ was discontinued due to a lawsuit brought by Kazaa. Search Google for KAZAA LITE RESSURECTION, thats what all the hip kids are using right now. Uninstall your K++ first.

Read up a little first on DC++ before installing. Because there's all sorts of different rules that apply to different hubs across direct connect, and you're most likely to lose the plot if you keep getting d/c or banned from certain hubs.

Yah this thread went from fixing that problem, to suggesting other programs in place of it.

Either way I'm screwed. I have Kazaa going on my other computer and it's blazing out Clash, GNR, and Primus songs at 30kb/s...

I think the reason why I'm having issues with this computer is because I'm missing something called "Shell.dll" in my windows folder, or so a quick google search suggested that as the issue.

Either way, I want Kazaa, or nothing at all!

Anyway, Im using Kazaa lately also but am not enjoying it too much. I had Kazaa Lite before my pc crashed. Tons of files were screwed though. Got Clean Kazaa now though. Think I need to go the route of Soulseek finally. Btw, is it as good for porn or should I keep Kazaa for that?

I don't like SoulSeek, I had it for a while and the dullness of the look of SoulSeek depresses me to no end. I know the RIAA 0WN3D a lot of mp3's on Kazaa Lite, however, I can still find a lot of non major label stuff that I enjoy very easily.

It's just if you want Eminem, Britney Spears, Jay Z, or Clay Aiken your mp3's will be fux0r3d.
