After looking for it all over Dubai I finally found a shop which had the game in stock. Lucky for me it was their last copy too! Since Ive bought the game Ive not been able to put it down though.
Im just entering the Karma Society tower for the first time and so far there have been loads of surprises already. Straight from the off you are involved with the story. The frirst cut scene seems pretty interesting, but it doesnt mean much at the moment. It also took me a while to absorb everything Roland says about the Jumkyard, but its really interesting. Ive also found out that

It seems really crazy but I love it. The story is one of the best this gen, its really original and it has tons of twists.
The graphics look really nice. I really wish more devs would use the same look as DDS because it just looks great.
The music is great too, but I preferred the music from DDS1, still, the music from this is nice to listen to. Whats really impressive is the voice acting. The voice acting in this game is just as good as in the original game, which means that its brilliant. For all the complaints about voice acting, DDS doesnt get enough attention for the voice acting. i wouldnt say its the best this gen, but it certainly does stand out as one of the best.
The gameplay is simple, but its fun. The battle system is like the one in most JRPG's and it works well. There is no waiting for a persons turn and its really fluid. Theres plenty of stuff to do in the battle too. You can choose to be a demon or a human and there are a loads of moves that you can learn.
Speaking of learning moves, The matra grid is a lot better now, its less linear andf there is more options in regards to what you can learn. This new mantra grid is much better.
So far Im loving this game and I really cant wait to find out what happens next. There is so much happening and it all needs to be explained! I just hope that this game does not end soon.
