I dreamt that the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie was terrible. This may be due to the fact that the random firings of my brain could not produce a film that followed the book near as accurately as I would have liked, but my dream-self was just as disappointed nonetheless.

So, evil forecast? I hope not. I myself have high expectations for the movie. It has everything going for it.

(the same dream later had me eating a donut and having sex, so I came out even in the end )

I had an action packed dream where I was out hunting and was suddenly being hunted myself. I was running down cliffs and jumping all over to avoid an unseen evil. I ended up at a grave yard with an eerie (there are corpses 6 feet under my feet) feeling. I had to break down a door and found myself on a busy metropolitan street that suddenly was under attack by machines. I was fighting my way to a train and had to fight one, and destroy it with the help of my enemy who turned on me after we destroyed it.

By "accurately," I mean anything having to do with the plot that is found in the book, which is what my dream sorely lacked.

I had this dream where my friends, family and I were being touristy or something, and we end up visiting some house, but then if you went in certain areas of it you'd become this glowing red, super fast zombie type thing and they'd want to hunt the other people down. So most of my dream involved me running from my glowing red 4 year old second cousin... really bizarre.

I dreamed about work...again.

For the past 4 summers, I've been working in a kitchen in a small tourist town. The business is crazy there in the summer and I found myself working 50-60 hour work weeks, going long stretches without days off, etc. Then tis summer, we had 2 of our best cooks quit on us just before the summer rush began to hit, meaning that I moved up one notch on the food chain, so to speak.

This resulted in me working even more. How that's possible, or even legal, I never could quite figure out (I was always working 10 hours a week for these guys as a barback every weekend). Anyway, everything revolved around work and I had this dream where I broke my legs while biking to work and rather than give me time off, they setup support bars in the kitchen so I could pull myself around and still get stuff done.

My dream involved a bizarre, out-of-context version of work, an interactive version of FFIV which in no way resembled the real thing, and horrendous car crashes viewed from a bus. Cool dream.
