i'm browsing a link off of google, and as i start reading this page i start hearing this annoying sound:

The page was really long too. This is easily worse than the flash Burger King commercials. i wonder if they'll ever have flash Nintendogs commercials like these...

Download the plug-in for fire fox that blocks flash, unless you actually click the "play" button. So now I am browsing every website, and not a damn flash or pop-up dares get in my way.

Adblock. i'm tempted to reinstall it actually. The only thing i didn't like about it was that it would put that little button over all flash elements, and since i go to some sites where flash is actually used well, it's annoying.

With this new round of annoying commercial clip ads and crap like Jamster and shoot/kill/catch the ninja/burglar/baby ads, it may be time to look into it again.

About time someone brought this idea to fruition. i had thought about it a year ago, but didn't have the skills to make it happen. As is always the case with Opera features i find useful, i wonder, "is there a Firefox extension that does that?"

Actually, Flashblock. Adblock is good too IIRC.
