I'll make it even larger I'm strating to hate all places with a community bigger than 50 people, they more ppl in the community, the more idiots lurk them.

When you have a lot of idiots it all become a black and white discussion, if you are not woke you are a nazi, if you like an artsyle you have to hate everything else, if you like a console you have to hate all other tech products.

I don't know if I'm getting old, or youngster are getting less smart.

EuroGamer are a bunch of hypocrites anyway. They always like to boast and brag about diversity, etc, any chance they get, but seem to be stuck constantly hiring White Women. For a "diverse" website they sure do like to avoid hiring black/asian people and claim that the best applicant was always a white woman.

Yeah that site is a total shit-hole these days, used to be alright if you just responded in comments and stayed out of the forums proper, but they started shadow-banning there too.

Probably why traffic on there is a fraction of what it once was. These days the tail (DF) is wagging the dog big-time.

Same here. The comment section was REEEEEEEEdiculous.

I remember one article about the scrubbed all women space walk and the comments were pretty much all "why didn't we use women during the space race? because of misogyny!" Literally historical revisionism to where we just had stacks of qualified female astronauts ready to go and were stopped because of the patriarchy. There was this one poster who was obliterating their feelings with reason pointing out the very limited amount of people in general in 1959 to meet the selection criteria. You can guess what happened to him.

Anybody with an opposing view seems to have long since been run out of there. I was leaning left of center at the beginning of the year and after all of the riots being called protests, I just could not take the lies anymore. Now when viewing Ars, it is so painfully liberal and I have to wonder if they changed or if I have changed. I used to really like it there.

They may provide an experience you can't exactly find elsewhere. Sometimes it's worth looking past shitty rules, certain users, and mods to be apart of that experience. For me at least I only hated the people deep into politics and some of the people running the joint.

it doesn't require it, but it checks it. this is how they can tell when people who are banned re-register with alts. virtually every site you go to, even google, logs your IP address.
(your previous post said IP address but this one says ISP email. neogaf doesn't let you register in with free email accounts, but ISP emails, and other paid emails (hosted exchange etc...) are allowed))

This hasn't been true for a good 2+years.
