Tomorrow will be my first experience with Jury Duty. I have to drive 45 minutes to Galveston because our county is so huge and I'll be spending most of the day sitting in a waiting room.

In fact, if what everyone says about the Galveston County Courthouse is true, I'll be spending most of my week sitting in a waiting room 45 minutes from home.

What I really need is a way to pass the time. A Game Boy would be brilliant, but my brother took mine back to Austin with him so no dice. I figure a magazine could occupy an hour at most and some conversation with people there could take up another 30 minutes, but beyond that I haven't a clue. Help me please, GA.

One of those Dell crossword puzzle books helped me pass by the slow days at work. There's alot of crosswords in there to do which will keep you occupied, but the same exact clues are so often repeated and the puzzles are so hopelessly easy to begin with that a complete moron would even feel smart finishing them.

So it's honestly the perfect solution

I've done crossword books before and I've noticed the same trend with repeating words and clues. It's usually like that through a book with each puzzle featuring a different gimmick with across answers.

Thanks for that. I'll pick one up with a magazine.

I hear there's some new fancy invention that has thousands and thousands of words printed on many pages, and then, get this, are bound together! Sometimes, if you read the words in order, they even tell stories! It's sure to be time waster. Fun too.

I did just dig up my copy of 'The Screwtape Letters' while cleaning out my room, but I have such a problem reading any place that isn't a bed in a dimly lit room.
That and it makes me really tired, which would be a great lead in to another great time waster. Glorious nap.

mp3 player, lots of music.. and go there drunk... (possibly high)... helps pass the time a lot easier... just go there and sleep....
