I don't understand why more people don't order their groceries online and have it delivered

Seems lots of delivery workers are mostly "who gives a fuck" type and chuck/toss/flip and super kick the shit outta my goods. So, I go do it myself to avoid that bullshit.

Cause I'm not paying someone to delivery my groceries. Just like I won't pay someone to deliver my food with uber eats.

"I see you've ordered the $9.99 taco box. Your delivery will be $53.47 and will take an hour. Would you like to tip Rajesh, your driver?"

I don't want to say online grocery shopping is bad but it's really for people in bad situations (disabled, long distance, car problems etc.). As to why someone would opt for delivery rather than going to the store…

Picking my own fruit is a must. And I eat A LOT of fruit. Plus, local stores employ local residents. Amazon does too, but they already have job security delivering other shit.

Just did this last weekend OP. I ordered 18 eggs and not a single one was cracked. Everything was completely accurate and delivery fee was $0. I will do again this weekend.
