Does a GOOD, FREE DVD authoring program exist? If so, any reccomendations?

I have a video project due tomorrow morning and if I don't get this thing onto DVD I'm fucked.

look for SpruceUp.

It's not free, but it'll work for you to get done by tomorrow. It's also extremely easy to use, as long as you've got your .m2v and .m2a files (mpeg video / audio)

I exported my project as a straight MPEG2, how do I get the two file types from that?

Edit - Ugh, SpruceUp isn't supported anymore and the demo leaves watermarks

check doom9, I can't remember offhand.

Look at the svcd > dvd guides, and they explain how to seperate the two files.

They might even have links to other free authoring software.

Sweet thanks. I downloaded IfoEdit, though I'm gonna try DVDBuilder also. I just need to find a guide that shows me how to turn my MPEG2 file into two compliant video and audio streams...

assuming your software needs it, doom9 has a guide for it, as I've stated.

It seems DVDBuilder does it itself, so I guess I won't be needing the guide.

Ok, that program wasn't working, so I went and demuxed the MPEG.

Only, when I open the audio file, I don't hear anything. Did it not demux it properly? I tried it again, same thing.

What could be wrong?
