I need to clean spywares from this computer

This computer used to be quite fast but latly (during the last couple of weeks) I got tons of spyware and everything is slow :( I can't format (too many things installed and too much stuff to backup) so anti spyware tools are all I got.
I already used spy bot search & destroy and ad aware but I know there are much more tools that find spywares these two seem to miss.

Any other ways to make my PC fast again? How about the disc difragmenting (sp?) tool?
 
I already use firefox (for about a year I think). I'm 99% sure it's because my dad used my computer instead of his for porno and used internet explorer :lol

I was fighting a losing battle with spyware a couple of weeks ago (Ad Aware, Spybot, and MS Anti-Spyware were ineffectual), so I decided to do a complete reformat. I couldn't be happier. My PC runs like a dream now. :D

I already have ad aware (I said so in my original post).
I can't format right now :( I have too much stuff (and stuff I need to finish first)
My PC works a lot better after the Microsoft anti spyware tool it's just amazing :) Finally a Microsoft beta that's really good :)

BTW, if I have a game installed on my HD (hl2) can I burn the game to a DVD and play it on a new installation of windows without reintalling the game?
 
the MS antispyware tool is the most advanced right now. use that.

run a competent piece of anti-virus software, and keep your OS patches up to date (there was an update to the malware removal tool recently)
 
Ok, i just installed and ran the MS antispyware program and i caught 0 components. I ran Ad Aware Pro afterwards, and it caught 13 objects.

VErdict: The MS program is worthless.
 
Go to Download.com and get Spyware doctor, the must current one. It solved all my problems last week, and nothing else was helping.

I'd been having a lot of problems too. AdAware and Spybot S&D didn't do a blasted thing, although they once worked well. I read a pro-Spyware Doctor PC site review, and the Comcast internet help guy also recommended it. So far, it has totally eliminated About.blank and the pop-up adware.
 
AdAware hasn't been keeping up with Malware/Spyware. Even running it in Safe mode did not fix my problems. Again, I recommend SpywareDoctor. FYI.

your dad's spunk residue is probably all over the keys you are typing with at this very moment. How do you sleep well at night?

what kind of "objects" were these? adaware will tag cookies, which is absolutely worthless.

:lol I read your reply after I posted this. I didn't mean to do it, it was just impulse for me. I see "slow" + "comp" + "browser" + "help", i just have to link firefox somehow. :D I'm like a firefox bot. ^_^
