I own Dark Souls on 360, PSN, Xbox, PC. Whats wrong with me and do I need Help?

nope i do not think you need help as if you really want to love and support the developer , you will double or triple dip
there are others who really need mental help out here , i shall not say more
I agree with you, you are absolutely right. We should support corporations as much as we can, as they are basically on a life support currently. Their profits growing only 20% per year, and it's simply unacceptable.

I think I own it on most as well

However I own pretty much every version of RE4 and because of kids, I think I own almost every version of Minecraft in some form

I have 3 copies of No Man's Sky. Bought the first on PSN for £10, and felt bad after all the free updates, so bought a copy on GOG.

Then, after they issued even more constant free updates, I bought a physical copy for PS5, to put on my shelf.

But that's my limit. I think it's cost me £50 in the end, which is fair enough at this point.

(waits for all the Triggered reactions to flood in)

I think I have RE4 on Gamecube, PS2, PS4 and Steam. I've sometimes sold, or given away, consoles but kept games and so on so somehow I ended up with that many.

Dark Souls I have on 360, PS3 and PC.

Why don't you own it on the GameCube?

How is it these days, I saw the Switch 2 version was pretty cheap

Wow I thought I was bad having 3 versions including the remaster on Xbox...oh shit I have the remaster on pc as well. Ok 4. Still not as bad.

Seems fine to me. I have the og version on pc, ps3, ps4 remaster, and will buy the remastered in the next few weeks when it gets a good sale on steam.

Nothing wrong with that if you enjoy it and want to play it on whatever platform you desire, given the type of experience it provides.

I am at fault when it comes to Capcom games with multiple SKUS. The one company that will make me triple plus dip on their bloody games because they have me by the balls.

Do what makes you happy mate :)

Also I own 2 copies on PC. The prepare to die edition and the remaster.

That's 5 copies of the same game.

Is there a helpline for people like me? Someone I can talk to? It's beyond obsession for a 15 year old genre defining GOAT isn't it?

Shit. Forgot I own Switch Dark souls remastered (which is really the 360 version)

That's 6 copies
Maybe if you want some attention you can go on Reddit and post this

I own three copies of Demon's Souls on PS3. Imported it because everyone said the game wasn't coming to the West. Then it came to NA, and everyone said it wouldn't come to EU, so I imported the NA version, just to show my support for future ports. Then the game did come to EU, and I naturally bought that version as well. Got plat in all three versions, too.

What do you mean by that? Are you stuck with something serious or you're just acknowledging all Karens in real life?

There's a lot to do, with literally billions of planets to visit, lots of missions to undertake, and all the rest.

You can acquire a lot of different spaceships, build bases, and generally explore an entire galaxy.

Bad things about it are that starting out isn't great, as the game could really use a much better tutorial, so that can be very off-putting.

I suppose it depends on what kind of games you like, as I found doing the main story missions, exploring, and attempting to reach the centre of the galaxy a lot of fun. Some other might find it a bit dull, though.

i wonder if they will ever remake it…
I'd pay $130 for a full blown Demon Souls type remake. I'd pay anything. Everything. Didn't even "truly" give it a go until 2018 and yet it feels oddly "Nostalgic". Nothing comes close for me. Nothing. Not this century anyhow

Yeah I mean, it's not remotely what it was in 2016. May as well be a different game. Biggest glow up in gaming. If you're into flying around space. Moons. Exploring. Taking off and flying low level atmosphere and seeing cool storms. It's wild.

Apparently now you can be mayor of a town and have citizens and all.

Edit: starting out is TRASH. Yes. Wonder why they never fixed that?!

Yep 👍 I'm not interested in you if this is your angle
I understand. I've seen Youtubers making valid points like you can't be a dad and pro in souls games like solidrev. I'm not saying he's perfect, but he's a dad youtuber playing games with his son and daughter. I could understand pro souls gamers becoming dads, I completely understand that view.

I'm far from pro souls anything. I've beaten it a couple times. 3 to be exact. Never NG+ yet. I'm not a dad though. Likely won't be. And that's ok. I've got 2 nieces and a nephew from my twin sister who married my best friend from K-5.

Going hollow simply means giving up and giving in to what ails you. It's letting your mind defeat you. You have to keep waking up, pull yourself up by your boot straps and do the best you can with what you have.

Play the hand you're dealt. Keep playing it. And soon, you'll get a new deck and new hand. A better one. Giving up and giving in isn't an option and can't be.

Don't go hollow. Keep fighting. Never give up. Never.

You're casual like me, you don't need help. Watch Solidrev, he's awesome, he'll definitely encourage you to be a dad, I couldn't name another youtuber, he's so special.

Do you also own a ridiculous amount of Dark Souls memorabilia? If so, then you may need help (I could use an Artorias statue).

Edit: I bought the day one steelbook edition for PS3, the Prepare to Die edition on PC, and the remastered edition for PS4, so I think I may have an issue too.

At 38. Genuinely unsure if I wanna Be a dad. My "itch" is scratched from my 2 nieces and nephew. Would I want a family? Sure. But I'm more picky than ever before on a wife. I'm not 20 anymore. I need Someone established. Good credit score. Morals. Values. Many things and frankly I'm super comfortable living alone with no one telling me how to live.

If I need Company, I've got friends I can call on to hang with and all. Just genuinely not sure anymore I want to wake up everyday with the same women.

I'm 41, and my wife and I are not having kids. You have to walk your own path and at the end of the day, all you can do is try to not live with regret.

I've been close… to marriage on 2 occasions.

The closest was a girl who after a couple years of dating, things going good, she said put a ring on my finger or leave me.

Told her to close the door on her way out. No. Not kidding. I do not do ultimatums. I'll intentionally go against it regardless

If you did give into her ultimatum, it would have probably turned into a divorce later down the road (or at the very least, a very miserable time for you). You didn't marry her before she demanded it for a reason. Maybe it's because you weren't ready, maybe you didn't find her to be marriage material, or maybe you were just too comfortable in the relationship to break up with her. Once she applied that pressure, time to rip off the band-aid.

I'd have dated for another year or so. MAYBE if things still good, marriage. But I was happy with how we were and didn't feel the need to get married yet. Yes we had talked about it and hoped one day we could. Once it's right. But once you demand it. It's an automatic fuck off for me
