with the Switch 2 newly released and the fact that Nintendo is already increasing the price in other regions, it seems like a price increase of NSO + expansion is inevitable. I would think within the next 6-12 months.

is there any way to stack NSO + expansion memberships like with Game Pass? With Game Pass Ultimate, I stock up when it is $4-7 per month

I think we have some time before it happens. Nintendo will probably be careful while they are transitioning the Switch userbase over. All bets are off next year though, that's when Game Chat stops being free. They probably won't give any warning about when they're going to hike though, unless we see them try to prevent people from stacking.

Not sure if there's anyone here who's paying full price, but you can save money by buying a share of an expansion pass family plan off the NSO subreddit for $11.

Don't trust the plan owner? Start your own family plan and sell your extra slots for $11 instead.

Ignore them and just talk to the people that are actually responding in good faith. Don't waste any of your time and energy on them, its pointless. They are not trying to have a dialogue. The ignore feature can do wonders for you. Anyway, per Nintendo's support page, it seems like stacking 3 years should be possible. I went to manage my membership online and in the page were you select the plan there was no obvious choice to purchase and extend the plan for another year. Since I have a family plan with the expansion pass, everything was greyed out except for this option, but the button said something about autorenew already on. If you press that button, it prompts login and after that it actually gives you the option to extend for another year. Hope that helps you and others looking for it. I'll have to convince the members of my family plan to do this...
