Was it a Love's truck stop? I have been told by reliable sources that the showers there are frequented by gay men looking for a little company... so there might be more to that story.

Not sure about America but back when I was a kid my friends sister used to spend all day in her room on a CB radio talking to truckers. I was not a man of the world at this time so his rather chonkey sister spending her time like that was strange to me. Then I worked it out, there was an over night truck park directly in front of my house and my bedroom window overlooked it. Very often in the mornings when I got up I'd look out my window to see her doing the walk of shame out of some guys truck.

Of course I'd go to school and ripp the piss out of my friend for it, "Saw your sister this morning, what was she doing in the cab of a pig truck and not the back of it?"

That truck park was also a reliable source of porn mags as the drivers would throw them out in the morning before starting the day.
