Oh, sure there is. Nothing beats that great sound and feeling of peeling your sweaty self off a leather car seat. Or the scorching BURNINATION of my old car's steering wheel after a day in the parking lot at FSU.
i haven't experienced that degree of dry heat. i can tell you that wet heat is worse for me because the air is heavy and it's hard to breathe. i can no longer sweat because the air contains more moisture than my body, partially due to sweating and dehydration.
i don't have air condtitioning in my room. All i've got is a window fan and a box fan. It's actually hotter in my room than it is inside due to my AMD PC, 19" CRT, and my receiver. It was so hot Sunday morning when i woke up that my computer had locked up. i have to hibernate my PC to avoid damage and excess heat when i get home from work.
i'm going to take a shower, then do something for two hours before i go to work.
ditto. an entire month of 120+ in AZ made my mind up on that one.
right now it's about 55 outside here. About 2 weeks ago, it went from 60 outside to over 100 in only two days and then two days later it was back to 60. many sick people walking about after that.
Here in Minnesota the weather is absolutely beautiful... 29 degrees celsius with an amazing light breeze. This is the kind of weather I live for.
It's hard to choose between days like this and sunny winter days. I do love mild winter weather, even though I am kind of prone to complain about winter as a whole.
Sunny winter weather in Minnesota is really nice. I was up there earlier this year (looking at the owls north of Duluth) and it was very plesant and nice.
My sister (lives in Minneapolis, badass city btw) says that the nasty winter days are *really* nasty, but it's bearable and the other seasons make up for it. ;p
