There are so many pixel art resources and programs I'm a little overwhelmed. Are there any creative types who can help me out here? Where on earth do I start? I'm on windows btw.

Hi, I'm definitely not an artist (I'm a programmer), but a quick search brought me to this video:



Aseprite seems like a good start, but I would just pick one that looks the most appealing to you and see if you can find further tutorials and whatnot specific to it. Good luck!
