I was followed home by a UFO last night and I'm freaked out.

You guys should also realize that I've been a member on Gaf for a while now and have never created a thread. If you think the first thread I've ever made would be to troll you guys, I'm personally offended. If you don't believe me fine, I probably wouldn't have either before last night but let's not start with the drunk and meth talk, that's just fucking stupid.

Tell me, OP.....do you love to sing-a?

Not going to call you crazy, but from things you've said I'm going to say you're predisposed to assume aliens when you should really be exhausting some more mundane possibilities.

Aliens aren't visiting you OP. If these lights were real (it's entirely possible you're lying or that these lights were visual hallucinations) then there is likely a completely mundane explanation.

Problem is you've been into this for a year now if I understand you correctly. You want to believe. You're not being objective enough for me to believe you.

I don't understand, wouldn't a UFO be too far away for you to judge if it is following you or not? To me it would be like looking at the moon and say it's shining on just you.

That's the impression the videos you posted give me anyways.

If it happens again I'd be interested in seeing your recording of that

I'm not lying but I hope you are right about the mundane explanation, I really do. The lights were very real but like I said, the real test will be if I something again. Two times is a coincidence, three times is a pattern.

You know something similar happened to me last Thursday when I was driving home. I had a couple of miles to go - I looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky, to the east! It was moving very irregularly... suddenly there was intense light all around me - and when I came to, I was home. What do you think happened to me?

I only posted those videos because posters were asking me do. The thing I saw was much closer to the ground. That's part of what was so freaky, this thing flew so low that I even saw other people in their cars looking at this thing wondering what the fuck it was. It would be far away one second and the next right up on me. It was still at least a fcouple hundred feet in the air even at it's closest.

I'm from Florida, had an orange light fly from the horizon and over me and my family many years ago. Before cellphone cams. It was huge and didn't appear to be mechanical in any way. We had binoculars. Anyhoo, reading around I attribute it to some amazing ball lightning.

You don't believe in God because of having to see to believe but you now believe in aliens after an incident where you couldn't even really make out what the ufo was? All you said a was it looked like a plane, I thought name you had actually seen one up close, no lights it distraction. THAT is seeing to believe. Not trying to insult you but what you described in no way was evidence for aliens.

You might as well believe in god if that is all it takes to change your mind. Also come on, Morse code? I if you think it was doing something like morse code it was not alien. People watch way to many sci-fi movies...

It's very possible that you had seen more ambiguous visual information that you interpreted in this physical, concrete fashion. That wouldn't mean that you're insane or have some weird disease either, people have these kind of hallucinations when they're perfectly healthy all the time.

Barring that, it could have been some kind of drone that you're unfamiliar with or was built by hand by some hobbyist.

If you see the same thing again, or continue seeing objects following you, then I'd probably talk to a doctor about it to be honest. I'd be interested in whatever video you could provide because then we (the internet in general) would likely be able to provide you an explanation that would assuage your paranoia.

We can solve this pretty easily, what was the total duration of time this thing followed you?

Why can't you answer Gravy Boat properly?

You're not understand what I'm saying. What are you now a legit believer of if it's not aliens? You say that you now believe in people who see UFOs but that doesn't make any sense. unless before this you genuinely believed that you could identify all flying objects then I don't understand what you're now a legit believer of.
Please stop ignoring gravy boats question. It'd actually help people understand and maybe believe you.

The moment you started 'researching' on YouTube is the moment where your brain should have said, 'hell no, i'm not that stupid'.

I'll be completely honest with you OP, and I don't mean this in an antagonizing or mean way, but this sounds a little like paranoid schizophrenia. My father's first signs were to be convinced he was being followed by UFOs. He'd bring me outside and point out satellites and things that "followed" him around. As we walked he'd pick out things like planes, or stars, or even reflections in the lake and was pretty convinced that it was all the same object following him.

Not saying that's the case here, I only bring it up as something to be aware of :)

Otherwise it sounds like a cool experience OP.

I use research as a loose term, I'm not a fucking professional UFO hunter or something. Again, I'm not saying that's what changed my mind, I'm saying I actually started seeing stuff in real life once I started opening my mind up about this stuff more.

I'm officially done with this thread now but will update OP if I get something on video. Thanks for hearing me out Gaffers.

I'd say some of you guys are being jerkish towards OP who is relaying a story he can't personally explain. It really didn't sound like he was making up his experience.

"What do you mean your a believer?"
"What do you believe in?"

Yeah I don't think many people realize that these strange 'behaviors' of UFOs, ghosts, and whatnot are literally the product of human imagination, and not something naturally verifiable. If these things really did exist, no one would know how they truly act because they haven't been actively observed before. Movies (imagination) can't tell you anything.

What these two did, I sees it.

I believe the OP. Believe that he was seeing things he couldn't understand.

Some of the language he was using plus those youtube videos he provided made me a bit concerned for the OP, more than anything.

Though you're always going to have the skeptics who come on a bit too strong with their "logic bombs" or whatever trying to "win" an argument about the supernatural. OP clearly believes he saw something extraordinary, no need to try and convince him otherwise.

No video?

Everyone carries a phone with them in this day and age, and if this happened you would whip that bad boy right out and start filming, yet here we are, with no proof.

This sticks out to me. Not trying to pile on, but it sounds like the slippery slope to confirmation bias.

I'm not doubting you saw something, I totally believe you there. But YouTube is a really weird rabbit hole to dive into on subjects like these.

Have you researched what consumer drones are capable of these days? They often have the exact same light patterns you describe, with a solid light in the center and blinking lights on the opposite ends. They are also fully moddable and don't kid yourself, there's a lot of dudes out there that think it's freaking hilarious to weird out people with fake UFO's.
Back when I was on a holiday in Denmark years ago I also saw super weird aerial light patterns floating in the sky above the beach at night. People's minds were blown.
Turned out to be this 30-year old dude with a huge black kite, which was covered with various LED-lights and patterns.

Don't assume this experience of yours is aliens, assume it's people trying to prank you. You'd sleep more soundly that way.

But you should totally connect with the lady from the second video you posted, you could go UFO-hunting together while GAF watches through Periscope.

Thank you. Now I know what the YouTubers feel like when they get all these shitty comments just for posting videos, and video proof never helps ease the trolls dickishness so I'm not even sure why it's such a big deal.

I'm just relaying an experience I never thought I would have in my life. At least if it ever happens to one of you, you'll know you're not alone.

This is the second day in a row people are making additional acid threads. Please stop, we get it already.

Maybe it's the Flordia Police's new toy if Trump gets in?

I think you're being a tad dramatic lol.

I don't assume anything my friend. I have theories but would never state them as fact. You also must've missed where I said that I hope it was a drone, I've just personally never seen anything like it.

Why the fuck would aliens that can traverse the galaxy at light speeds bother with our lump of rock?

To be fair you could ask the bird in the rain forest why some asshole traveled across two continents to video tape him.
