I was followed home by a UFO last night and I'm freaked out.

Thank you. Now I know what the YouTubers feel like when they get all these shitty comments just for posting videos, and video proof never helps ease the trolls dickishness so I'm not even sure why it's such a big deal.

I'm just relaying an experience I never thought I would have in my life. At least if it ever happens to one of you, you'll know you're not alone.

I don't think I'm being trolling or dickish. You literally said you were now a legit believer. I asked what in and you've refused to answer. It's a genuine question because you said you didn't think it was aliens.

To be fair you could ask the bird in the rain forest why some asshole traveled across two continents to video tape him.

You are alright for a dog, Trojita.

Have you contributed something incredibly important to the human race? If aliens visited earth do you really think they would give a fuck about you? They sure wouldn't spend their time worrying about what I'm up to. If they have the technology to travel between stars, wouldn't they be able to do the research and focus on members of our species they can learn the most from, like heads of state and leading scientists? We all want to feel special I guess.

It's really hard to believe that the OP saw what he thinks he saw, but I can say he believes he did. No reason to be mean about it.

OP, please don't take it the heart. People are incredulous because Gaf likes to focus on the sciences.

I've seen some shit I can't explain, but I'm very hesitant to call it supernatural or extraterrestrial just because I can't explain it, ya know?

The girl in the second video mentions SeeingufosPA channel and says she lives nowhere near an airport when in-fact she lives in Murrysville, 20 miles from Pittsburgh where theres an international and 5-6? other airports. Not to mention most of the 'blinkies' she films look like planes.

GAF may take the piss but the YT UFO community isn't going to help you at all.

Fair point haha.

But I think, an advanced civilisation thousands of years ahead of us technologically may not give a rats arse about what we have going on down here.
Especially after discovering who knows how many other life forms advanced or not, out there.

My name is Kyle, I'm 32 and live in Tampa, Fl. I saw a big orange light about two months ago right above my neighborhood and as soon as I stopped my car to look at it, it went out. But tonight legitimately shook me. I was leaving my Uncle's apt. around 9:30pm and I saw a bright white light right above the neighborhood down the road. As soon as I got close to it it started to move and look just like a plane with the blinking lights but moving much too slowly. I was amazed but after giving it a wave hello after stopping right underneath it I went on my merry way. This thing ended up following me all the way home. It literally creeped up right in front of me at an intersection and then kept flying towards me straight on and as soon as it reached my driver's side would fly backwards keeping right alongside me. I get to another intersection right near my house and I see a few objects in the sky with glittery lights flashing over a large area in the sky, almost like morse code. I finally pulled in my driveway and got out, looked up and saw it fly by me one last time. I was always on the fence about all this stuff until tonight but now I'm a legit believer.

I had to check YT to see if others have had this same experience and at least two videos I watched described my experience to a T. I haven't even told anybody I actually know about it because I think they'll think I'm crazy. I've never seen anything until I started researching this stuff on YT and talking about it with my Uncle (also a believer) for the past year or so. The orange light now feels like maybe it was a test to see if I'd notice it because it was 3 a.m. (I go to work early) and I was the only one in my neighborhood outside at that moment. I'll be really curious now to see if this becomes a constant thing. I mean it was so obvious that it was letting me know that it knows that I know. Just crazy!

It was your uncle, he was getting lonely and wanted company so he got a drone to fuck with you,

OP, no other object has been misidentified as a flying saucer more often than the planet Venus. Even the former leader of your United States of America, James Earl Carter Jr., thought he saw a UFO once... But it's been proven he only saw the planet Venus. Your scientists have yet to discover how neural networks create self-consciousness, let alone how the human brain processes two-dimensional retinal images into the three-dimensional phenomenon known as perception. Yet you somehow brazenly declare seeing is believing? Mister OP, your scientific illiteracy makes me shudder, and I wouldn't flaunt your ignorance by telling anyone that you saw anything last night other than the planet Venus.

So, I absolutely love stuff like this. I want to believe. I do.

However, you mentioned you never saw stuff like this until you started looking for it and talking about it over a year ago. You also mention that you believe it was "letting you know, it knows you know" or something like that. Don't you see a correlation here? Sounds like you saw something odd, but probably mundane, and desperately want it to be something else. The mind is a powerful thing.

This is one time I'd love to be incorrect though.
(I hope this doesn't come across as condescending)

Every person who believes in this stuff needs to become a licensed drone pilot and change their hobby to drone piloting.

So you've been researching this stuff online and with your uncle for a year, and now you've recently started seeing things, as of two months ago?

Your mind is playing tricks on you. You saw what you wanted to see.

Plenty of more logical explanations in this thread alone. I'd bet my life savings on it not being little green men from Mars.

Love that episode.

GAF something happened to me last Thursday when I was driving home. I had a couple of miles to go - I looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky, to the east! It was moving very irregularly... suddenly there was intense light all around me - and when I came to, I was home. What do you think happened to me?

You left your uncle's place at 9:30pm and then you got home at 3am? That's quite the drive man.

And later in that same post he said he was up at 3am because he goes to work early? None of this makes any sense, either he was up late because of his uncle who lives 6 hours away or up early to go to work at 3am. According to him, it's both. He forgot his own storyline halfway through writing that post.

Edit: And later he said the drive took him 30 minutes. Right.

Edit: Wait, I misread, those were two different incidents. Guess the joke's on me, it's all real after all.

Alright he's gone from the thread, I'm gonna release the drone footage I captured of him driving in a minute, you guys are gonna love it

OP, I twice saw a UFO outside my third floor apartment window when I was 12. It's weird and terrifying. Most won't believe you, that's fine. It may never happen again. Please post the best video that explains your experience.

I mean, what does he expect how people here would react? States he saw a UFO, doesn't have proof and then mentions he is a Legit Believer.

If that happened to me, I would be honestly unnerve if a type of drone is following me at night. But I wouldn't stupid/idiotic enough to say I'm a believer of aliens just because of that encounter.

So it's either a tech drone being tested
Or it's your mental health in question.

There are approximately 240,000 smart phones in Tampa, Florida. Surely somebody captured video of this incident.

Surely OP, who was close enough to clearly see the belly of this craft, would take a picture of such a thing from close range.

Any second now OP is going to post those low quality photos he talked about at least showing something in the sky.

Seriously? That's a drone. Theyre all over the place. Especially on the 4th of July for obvious reasons.

His phone sucks bro.

But he has his "ohhh fuck guys, I didn't charge my camera" handicam on him though.

I belive you op. Brave to post too. Drones are the new swamp gas. I believe that most people know the difference between drones, and something to freak you the hell out.

If you live near an Air Force Base you are going to see weird shit sometimes. The USAF likes to test stuff at night. I mean the public had no fucking clue about the modified stealth Black Hawk helicopters until one crashed during the Bin Laden raid.

I still don't understand the not having believed in UFOs part. If you see something that appears to be flying that you can't identify, then it's a UFO. It's not exactly easy to identify something at night. It's not even a concept that you can believe or disbelieve.

Nothing wrong with being freaked out over something you don't know. I just don't think it was aliens, there's tons of different kinds of drones out there. From what you can buy at stores, to hobby shops, and even law enforcement or military.

A few things you don't talk about on gaf:

1. Ghosts.

2. UFO's.

3. GMO's.

4. Hillary Clinton

These things threaten the bubble that a large percentage of gaffers live in (not all of us are like that though).

You have been learned. Haf a nice day.

First of all I believe the OP did see a UFO, but we need to clarify what a UFO is. People will automatically assume that the term "UFO" means alien spacecraft, or secret government aircraft (which do exist). But that is the problem. A UFO is simply a thing in the sky that we don't know what it is.

In the case of the UFO following you, I agree with the UAV or drone explanation. Also the fact that the object had blinking lights around it is more than enough to suspect that these are strobe lights that are required on all flying craft by law.

It would be really cool if these were aliens following you home, but I would suspect it's likely a drone of some sort.
