Butchered? "Cy" was the official romanization for the japanese release as well. How can they butcher their own work?

Someone back then said it's (or was) a japanese "trend", of sorts, to romanize "shi" as "cy". Dunno anything else about it, though.

Yes I remember the thread, it was BobbyConnover who educated us all. Damashi is the real translation to english but Namco already went ahead and did a "hipper" translation instead. Katamari Damacy is the official title for both regions.
