I think the lack of climax isn't all that important. You already feel just about as great as you possibly can (unless you prefer painkillers, like me). The bonus of having a coke-fueled orgy is that you're borderline insane and the experience could possibly last as long as the coke does.

Anyway, my reason for this post:

E is probably one of the least dangerous of the recreational drugs, and nowhere near as dangerous as crack, coke, herion, special K, angel dust. It also is better than alcohol if u r a club owner, pissed people tend to fight, people on e almost can't fight.

This is retarded. I'd say E is more dangerous than heroin, and crack. Coke isn't really dangerous, except from an addiction point of view, or if you're freebasing (and if you are, you are likely an addict anyway). K is extremely difficult to hurt yourself with, although from a brain damage perspective, repeated use is probably as bad as E. It doesn't have the whole dehydration thing going on.

Not only is it a pain in the ass to figure out what's in your little E pill, it's also one of the riskier (if not the riskiest) of all the drugs out there. 2 in 100,000 having adverse health reactions, independent of dosage? Dehydration? Seizures? Brain rot? Guess what? Opiates don't do any of that! Cocaine doesn't either. Mind you, amphetamines have their own little family of problems. E is related to amphetamines, and thus shares some of the same problems. I'd presume that the predominantly synthetic makeup of these drugs is the culprit in making them more dangerous.

Opiates any day! That's the only thing me and Rush Limbaugh will ever have in common.

I just came back from Mexico, and I tried ecstasy there. I read a lot about the drug, and I had always been scared off because of little we know about its long-term effects, and also because I heard the crash can be quite rough.

I was in a bar/nightclub, and some of the tourists who were staying at the same resort gave me a pill. I knew it would have been ok to try it, as in I wouldn't die (the same people were already on the same stuff). I read a lot of this thread, and people seem to go out of their way to discourage using alcohol while you're on E. I had already been drinking all day prior to taking the E, and I drank even more while on it. Is the combination especially dangerous?

I can tell you that the experience was a really good one. As soon as I started grinding my teeth like crazy, I knew it hit me. The music seemed really good, even though I don't like it when I'm sober (rap, hip-hop, american techno). I wanted to be friends with everybody, etc. Talking to people was a lot easier. In fact, talking to girls while on E was one of the easier things I've done in my life.

One thing about taking E with alcohol is that you don't feel the effects of booze whatsoever. I guess that's why it's dangerous, and considering how much I had to drink (30+ beers in 6-7 hours), I could have died from an alcohol overdose. I've had my stomach pumped when I was younger with way less to drink than that. I don't remember as much as I wanted, and I'm pretty sure the experience was dampened by the drinking. I know that I wasn't feeling drunk at all, I just don't remember coming back to the hotel room. Needless to say, I had the second worst hangover of my life.

Overall, I liked it, and I'd try it one more time, maybe on my future trip to Amsterdam. I don't know when I'll go, it all depends on $$$. I'd love to go to a live Tiesto show on E.

As much fun as E was, I would never do it regularly. I've honestly had more "fun" with a simpler drug like MJ. Maybe next time will be better when I don't drink.

It's dangerous because it doubles up on the dehydration. Dehydration is probably one of the bigger dangers of ecstasy.

Why anyone would voluntarily want to take X is beyond me. The issue of whether to take it or not is not your real problem ;P

A lot of people here are prejudiced against things they know nothing about. Please don't give the guy advice if you yourself should be the one receiving it.
As for the original question - it's relatively safe. Just don't take too much the first time. I've tried it once (I have an older brother who looks after me and is way more experienced), and as long as you stick to one pill (half a pill then hour and a half later another half), you'll be fine trust me. Just don't drink alcohol with it, especially not the first time. And, like said, be sure to drink enough water.
The effect is most excellent imo. But like I said I've only tried it once and will never do it unless there's some kind of special festival or party. Don't try it on a regular night out, you might become addicted more easily if you do. But as far as addiction goes, I dn't know much when it comes to xtc.
It helps a lot if you have friends whom you can trust that can help you with it. But the most important things to keep in mind is that you shouldn't take more than one pill (even when you have the feeling it's not working) and that you should drink enough water.

It's amazing that even after all the drug related deaths you hear about, all the fucked up drug addicts you see and hear about, there is always some idiot say, "Hey drugs are not bad. All the people telling you not to do them are lame." You're absolutly right that if he does X he will not drop dead on the spot, and that there is no guarentee that he will, but what it will do is give him a faulse sense of control that could lead him to do other shit that will fuck him up. Every drug addict I have come across has told me that it wasn't the crack, herion or meth that fucked them up, but it was after they had there first drink or joint is what did them in. After that the fear was gone and they thought they could handle anything and so they progressively went higher up the drug chart and before they knew it they were fucked. One guy told me it was like stealing. The first time is a bitch cause you've been told how if you steal you're going to Hell, the Cops are going to get you throw you in jail, and get raped by hundred guys. After you get away with it it's like shit none of that happened I must be smarter that all those other losers who got caught.
