I saw this dude that looked A LOT like folder in the front of the line to the Ninty conference so I asked, "hey are you from GAF?" and he's like "no, sorry"...
the weird thing is he was with a girl that looked a lot like Folder's girlfriend (and they kissed sometimes or at least she was all slobbering on him almost), so I think it was him but who knows I fight have been mistaken...

I mean no offense, but why didn't the GAF guys realize that all promises were off once Folder didn't show up? I'm not altogether informed as to the circumstances surrounding the party, but I would expect it to be common sense not to start one on the tab of another, non-present party. If this was after E3, then I would also have expected for Folder to be absent out of embarassment for all of his false pre-E3 claims.
What it sounds like to me is that this BuddyC guy wanted everyone to have a good time, so he decided to be a gentleman and foot the bill anyways. *shrug*

Nah -- I'm sure a lot of the R&D that went into this was done during the DS's development. Nintendo saw a way to put it to good use, and voila. This is a way to keep GBA alive longer, and I do believe it's going to work.Waychel said:

I just wanted to add that Folder's suckines extends even further than BuddyC's (very generous) drink bill. He also picked the obscure bar we all converged at, which was nowhere near downtown, and cost several people a lot of money in taxi fees just to haul their asses all the way out there and back. On top of that it was an absolutely tiny place, and closed at freaking midnight.
