But what will you do about a boot?

According to Wikipedia:
In South Asia the trunk is usually called a dicky/dala or slang diggy.
I have to say that if for some reason I decided to stop using the word 'trunk' for a car's trunk, I like 'dicky' a lot more than the laughable 'boot.'
"What's that, 'where's the baby stroller?' It's in the dicky."
"Hey can you toss these groceries in the dicky for me?"
"No, it wasn't that bad of an accident. He did plow into my dicky pretty hard though, dented the damn thing up."

Don't they take your license plate and thus have all your information when issueing these? So if they find the object on the ground, even unharmed, you're basically going to jail right?

All the jokers in here saying they could pry it off..You think you're the only genius to think about that?

That's probably the first level of thinking they cover when they design these things...

They address it in the article too.

Yeah 700 pound strength is pretty strong vacuum. I use to lift 600 or so with -14.4inHg...not sure how many max pounds that equates to but you really can't remove it without letting air in or severe damage to the system.

But what will you do about a boot?

Good luck ;)
