I don’t even know HOW you go about actually getting devs TO autograph anything, but it was just something I was thinking about. Shigeru Miyamoto is 72 years old now, and has likely had a direct impact on the lives of a lot of folks here, and it just dawned on me that meeting him or at the very least getting an autograph would honestly be kind of a “bucket list” sort of thing.
Honestly though, other legendary devs like Eiji Aunoma(sp?), Keiji Inafune, Yuji Naka (maybe, uhh, a bit harder than others to get an autograph atm…), Koji Igarashi, Hideki Kamiya, John Carmack, and Chris Metzen — just the ones off the top to my head — I would honestly love to find some way to get their autographs somehow.
But hell, what would you even get such a varied list of folks to sign, if you even COULD? Obviously you wouldn’t ask them to sign games they hadn’t worked on. Would you just try to get a little notebook and gather their signatures separately? Some kind of poster? I mean, Smash Ultimate would be pretty fitting to get a LOT of varied signatures, but certainly has a couple of omissions that wouldn’t quite fit.
For that matter, any of you guys ever collect signatures? Any tips, if you’re not someone well connected in the industry or anything like that?
