...and that, kids, was the first time I sucked a dick for crack
A number of cars in Forza I've driven often times. The Altima 3.5SE is the one car I know like the back of my hand, so it'll be the first car I'll really test Forza with.
sscrew said:No it doesnt have aproblem with it, but Forza's is easily much better... and someone posted a link with a physics comparison and it said Forza calculates its physics at 240fps while GT4 does it at 60fps.?

You've never played a PS2 game online, have you?HokieJoe said:Honestly, if GT4 were online, even at this late stage in the console game, I'd pick up a PS2 just for that.
Even if its running at 480, it still has a lot of flaws which arent flaws in the Forza handling and vice versa. Some people will prefer either one, i prefer Forza. It feels more realistic to me. But i cant say when it comes to Ferrari's etc how accurate it is.... i havent driven one. It feels really nice though. Cars have weight, nice reaction, little tuning makes noticeable differences etc. It seems more accurate to me for those reasons.Gek54 said:m0dus made up that shit about GT4s physics running at a 60rps. KNOW ONE KNOWS AT WHAT RATE GT4 RUNS!.
I have, i used to play Tony Hawk 3 and 4 online... while its not feature rich, it didnt do too badly. I was happy with it at the time atleast.... it offered me what i wanted, real competition. Granted it doesnt have a thing on Xbox LIVE, its still something that would of improved the GT4 experience somewhat.MarkRyan said:You've never played a PS2 game online, have you?
(Forza's main competitor, Sony PlayStation 2’s Gran Turismo 4 , can’t match its power—GT4’s physics engine recalculates 60 times a second, Forza's runs four times as fast, at 240.)
sscrew said:Agreed, sadly this will do terrible sales. Forza hasnt got quiet the name Gran Turismo does, nor the userbase. The game is easily the best option for car enthisiasts with only an Xbox, and im sure many multi-console owners would enjoy it more too. Yet it will not sell that well.
Maybe I'm spoiled by Xbox Live (and I don't even like online gaming), but online on PS2 is always a huge chore.sscrew said:I have, i used to play Tony Hawk 3 and 4 online... while its not feature rich, it didnt do too badly. I guess it could be wrong, but something tells me that Popular Science is more reliable than anybody here.
m0dus said:Hey Jackass--pick up a fucking copy of popular science before claiming I made up anything. Fucking shit, it's right on their goddamn front-page:
"Rather than simply using 0–60 times, top speeds and the standard slate of statistics available from automakers, the designers entered each car’s physical attributes—the ingredients of performance—into a physics model that predicts how that particular collection of parts would slice through the air and grab the road. (Forza's main competitor, Sony PlayStation 2’s Gran Turismo 4 , can’t match its power—GT4’s physics engine recalculates 60 times a second, Forza's runs four times as fast, at 240.)"
