Wonder ranking higher than 3 pretty much kills the whole thing though.

I don't disagree. I didn't care for it one bit and it's the first one I played. I then played SMB3 and thought it was superior in every way.


Cause they suck.

Well I don't know if it's nostalgia but I really liked SMB2 at the time it came out. There's been nothing like it since and those mechanics should've been tried again in some other platformer if not Mario.

I did not care for the Wii and Wiii U mario games and I'd put Mario Bros 2 above all of them. 2 gets too much hate. I remember having a blast with it when I was a kid. I enjoyed Wonder but would never put it above world or 3. I love that they put Super Mario World at number 1 though as it's one of my favorites, but 3 should have been ahead of Wonder. The Mario Land games and New Super Mario Bros 2 on the 3ds were just alright. Still wouldn't put them ahead of my top 5.
