Totally agree. All of Mimimi's games were fantastic – Shadow Tactics, Desperados III, Shadow Gambit… each of them had something special. Shame they're not making games anymore, no one else did this genre at that level.

If you want to make Alien Isolatiom a stealth game then you would have to consider probably 50% of horror games stealth games.

It's a horror game first and a stealth game second.

It's likely because MGSV simply plays better as it sure as hell isn't better at anything else in comparison. But from a stealth gameplay standpoint I get it.

Though, I started Delta last night and played through the title card and it plays exactly as I remember V playing just not open world. I can't wait to finish this game for the 20th year or so time.

Eh, if we're talking pure stealth, Splinter Cell and Thief should be beyond MGS or Hitman. IMO MGS and Hitman bring so much more to the table that you could justify their spot in terms of pure quality.

It's so odd - I typically play most games in stealth if possible yet play very few stealth games. Haven't played much from the list beyond Dishonored 2 that was a pretty solid choice.

I love MGS games, but they are not good stealth games.

They are more "stealth", while Splinter Cell and Thief were actually stealth.

But in terms of "stealth" games, Hitman is the best.

Also, the AI wonkiness in Dishonored automatically makes them not good stealth games, despite them being fantastic in their own right.
