I've been listening to the Garden State soundtrack, and as a result, my ears have been opened up to a bunch of new artists, including ones suggested by this forum.

This question is a bit more specific however -

The songs In The Waiting Line, and more specifically, Lebanese Blonde really piqued my interest.

I'm wondering if anyone could reccomend some groups that have a poppy/acid jazz kinda sound similar to Thievery Corporation and Zero 7?

Some recommendations for artists and starter albums:

Fragile State (Voices From The Dust Bowl)
Blue States (Nothing Changes Under The Sun)
Bent (The Everlasting Blink)

...and, of course, get more Thievery Corporation. (Zero 7's new album is not that good.)

groove armada - pre 63/light my fire (fantastic doors cover)
thievery corporation - samba tranquile/un simple histoire (actually the whole "the mirror conspiracy" album)
monty alexander - monty's groove/soulful strut
alpinestars - snow patrol/crystalnight
coldcut - autmun leaves
claude challe & ravin - from a standstill
deep dive - summer time
hooverphonic - renaissance affair
