MS already did it. There were the X0 events until some years ago. Hopefully they'll restart doing them. It's great that this will become an annual event. I believe the success of this show will motivate Microsoft and Nintendo to do something similar.
Which arent nearly as hype as Spaceworld.Nintendo doesn't need a conference. They have Nintendo Directs, Nintendo Minute, and other mediums.
I hope Sony moves around the cities. Come to Seattle!!!!

Nintendo already has Nintendo direct, so I don't really think they'll have their own show. Microsoft on the other hand might follow this. Maybe if these events gain alot of momentum and fans start talking about it more, then maybe E3 will start getting weaker by the years. However this needs to develop much further and become the norm for it to replace E3. This gen E3 was not the place where Sony and Microsoft revealed their consoles, so maybe E3 is actually starting to lose its importance by a bit.
Cool. I like Sony's spread-out strategy, and I don't think it's negatively impacted their E3.
I can see MS doing a copy-cat thing, but not Nintendo. Also, for attendees this seems to also be a pretty significant networking event for devs big and small--Sony seems the most relevant to host something like that anyway.

So Nintendo has their directs and Sony is doing a big annual conference of their own.
Guess it's MS's move now.
X0! That's the event I was asking about earlier. With the increase of streaming media they should bring it back.MS already had a similar event: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X_(Xbox_show)
So does that mean Square Enix will grace us with more exciting news every year??!!!
I bet Square won't be allowed in the city next year.

As am I.Going next year. See you there, GAF.
Then who is going to announce a FFVIII remake?I bet Square won't be allowed in the city next year.
I'll take a FFVIII pc portSo does that mean Square Enix will grace us with more exciting news every year??!!!
Having 2 E3s is never a bad thing imo![]()
No kidding. Not only that, but any serious VGA's from now on, that'd work for them too. This last one was WAAAAY better than PSX. Not even lying.

I hope Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Keighley all have events in the same week like a winter E3 type of thing.
Here's what I'd like to see...
Thursday Night - Inside Xbox Event / X15
Friday Morning/Afternoon - Nintendo Direct
Friday Night - The Game Awards
Saturday - PlayStation Experience
I'd be so hyped
Adam Boyes just confirmed it on twitch that the "Annual PSX" comment during the keynote was not a slip, it will be annual event from now on.
So do you think this will motivate Microsoft to have a similar show again? Nintendo? Will this impact the type of announcements we get at E3 (as if they're saving them for their own show where they can better control the messaging)?
I wonder how this will affect E3. Why fight for attention at E3 when you can have all the attention for yourself?
With this move I think we're about to see the erosion of E3.
What platform holder wouldn't want a weekend event where the entire gaining industry focuses just on you. Unlike E3 fans can come with little hassle and then checkout all the upcoming games.
Pretty soon it'll be like Blizzard and Blizzcon. Why bother with E3
I expect the others to create something soon.
oh no...another regular hype train....
I doubt it. They can use PSX to showcase the more niche or smaller titles while E3 is for the tonnage.
It makes so much sense. The other conferences ate so grouped together that you either have to rush or delay AAA announcements. Plus, you can control information flow a lot better at your own event.
