In the likelihood that if an extraterrestrial being came to our planet, what entity/organizations currently could speak for all of humanity? What protocols do they currently have to execute such an event?

I imagine that most of the nations would form a delegation representing each of the countries, to make first contact. It just seems like the least messy, best way to do it.

At that point, the differences between us as nationalities are less important than presenting us as a unified collection of peoples.

Imagine: forces in every country of religion, politics, science, culture, conspiracy theories, economics, etc all forced to process the event at the same time. Every one of those at odds with everything else, even within the same country let alone across borders. It would be a massive, massive clusterfuck.

ET's will know that our governments are corrupt. At the same time, they will know that going through our government and revealing themselves to us regular citizens will only cause chaos. They will have to deal with our government like it or not, not to hinder our development. They know exactly what will happen and how it will happen. There are many other civilizations at the same level as us which is level 0, going through similar development at our galaxy and others. UFO sightings are not mistakes made by the ET's. They don't get lazy or forget to hide from us. They know slowly they will be revealed soon or a later. When that happens, it will already be at a boiling point and our government will collapse. We are seeing it now already. With everyone being connected by social media, no one can really hide corruption anymore. There will be a time once more people realize ET's are real and the government is hiding them from us, there will be a tipping point from all the lies, countless lives, and manipulations will be also revealed. This is the development we will have to go through. Time will tell.

You couldn't find a lot of the bare essentials in the grocery stores in the beginning of Covid. Hell, people hoard shit when there's a few inches of snow in the forecast. You don't think there'd be riots as people try to prep for an alien invasion at a moment's notice? Maybe like in the ‘53 novel Childhoods End, the Aliens choose someone to speak for us. In my opinion, it shouldn’t be the US, EU or any other nation who takes that role upon themselfs. But someone chosen by them, it will be better accepted by the world.

It will be reported to the police then to government instances and they will investigate to see if its true. When its true communications will fast be opened with other world powers in order to unite and push a form of defense against them or atleast report on everything they saw in order to get a stronger position against the aliens even if they are friendly. As world politics now no longer matter.

How do we know if aliens visited us? we will see huge jump forwards in technology from area's u wouldn't expect.

So its safe to say we haven't had contact with aliens yet.
