im wondering if they are good for playing video games? i want to be ready for the next gen consoles, and my room is small such that i dont wanna buy a big CRT or rear projector. LCDs are the perfect size. but im wondering whether their performance is upto par? the Dells have like a 25ms rating, seems kinda slow to me, will it show significant ghosting? what are some of my choices etc.

if you have cable or satellite anyways, i would probably skip the actualy LCD TVs and go for a straight LCD computer screen, such as the Dell 2405FPW, which has all the necessary inputs (S-video, Component, DVI), and usually are way cheaper and feature better stats (16ms?) than the LCD TVs

oh wow, that one is very nice indeed. do you have any idea whether the 12ms response time will be good enough for HD gaming?

should be fine.. currently I have the Dell 2005FPW (20") and it works great on PC games and HDTV (havent tried any consoles on it). some people are more sensitive to ghosting than others however.
